Hi Im here! Happily enjoying the new site! Long live Wincustomize and Object Desktop Subscriptions!

Back awhile ago.. Somewhere on Wincustomize, there was an article where the developer compared cpu usage.. It was Windows XP using the boring old Luna Interface... VS Windows XP using Windowblinds. It showed in their test that Windows XP using WB used lesser cpu cycles then using xp with the plain luna interface. Go figure! Think Stardocks apps can also help offset cpu load on Vista like it did on XP in their tests?
I want this article: https://www.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=141989 In gaming, and not the current area its at now .... I tried to move it, but couldnt for some reason.
You beat me to it
The WBA problem is fixed by downloading a third party unzip utility such as 7-zip and asscociate the opening of all compressed files with that program IE will no longer have this fit after that
Window Blinds 4.6 for Windows ME currently can only be installed as a full version from what I believe. Edit I saw this. http://www.filehippo.com/download_windowblinds/?36 I hope this can help you some.
Just go into Theme Manager and select suites, select the Windows XP desktop one, and then start over again
The problem seems to have gone away.....
I thought being a subscriber , I get no ads on Wincustomize.com? Im disqusted to see "Ads By Google" on the main page when Im signed into the site.
The new personal sites are pretty cool and deserve a second look. Sign a guestbook or two. Tell your favorite artist what you think of their work! Yes, being a subscriber does have its advantages! Stardock did a fantastic job in recreating what Wincus
Just in case you guys didnt see it, I put a whole new album up a couple of months back.. Shame on me for bumping up a 1 year old posting, but I think my new pics are worth a few more clicks!
Since then, I bought a new machine to do what I want. I upgraded the video card to a Geforce 7100 GS and it has 700mhz of DDR2 ram installed on the card. Its 128mb local memory with up to 512 via TurboCache. Works very very nice on all my apps. No choppy games or DVD Movies here.
Good ole' Voodoo. I used to love those things back in the 90's. Midway used this technology in some of their video game machines, including SF Rush , and quite a few others!
I decided to try this on Portable Firefox 2, and when I try and rate a skin I get a page not found 404 error.
ATTENTION MODS! https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=5994&libid=1 I see someone is trying to promote piracy on the comment section!
Well... I know when its okay to say it... But cant say it here on when its okay to say it
I would rather pay for top notch quality then for no quality at all. Good Idea about the Master Skins! Money well spent!
I too notice that sometimes when I switch to another skin, it just sits there for quite a long time. Im able to exit out sometimes with Control Alt and Delete but that makes everything corrupt. WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 84 x86)) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC You have one monitor in total. (Plug and Play Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS Wblind.dll
It turns out its not a Stardock issue, but a Dell issue. It turns out some ATI Radeons have strange performance issues on Nvidia type motherboards with PCI-E in Dell Dimension E 5xx series computers. I bought a Gigabyte Geforce 7100 GS from Newegg with a Memory clock of 700 mhz DDR2 Ram Windows FX Runs really smooth. Oh well. Another dell problem solved... Heh
Thanks, Ill get back to one of those options tomorrow. Its almost midnight here in california Thanks again for the reply
Using the latest build of this application produces black All Programs area, No transparency when dragging the Window around (sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesnt) In addition, transitions are very choppy depending on the size of the window. I did get a message about something wasnt enabled concering hardware whatever.... So I enabled it and it told me the changes would not take affect until the next reboot. Okay so I reboot and I still get this same behavior. I can pr

Sigh... Ive seen a few instances of games not launching using WindowFX. Luckily you can exclude these apps in WindowFX...
