Hi Pat. Sadly it's broken on my system. On my system I get "Fatal Error:13 Type missmatch 0" when I launch DGM after the update. After that it exits. Gonna do a debug and send it to ya.

I use yy-mm-dd, and here it works fine :)
Well, I must admit that I dont play that much at all. I play like 12-16 hours total the first two days when a new build is dropped, but after that not much. But by then I've spammed the forum quite well :) I sure like bigger maps, but the most of the bugs can be catched on smaller maps too. The big is more for fine-tuning IMO and we're not there yet. Sometimes let's the smaller maps go all the way in the tech-tree. But it's great we play on different maps, more tested
I agree that this version is a bit harder, but Ive beaten it with the default settings - but then, Ive only played on the smallest map. THis is things that are getting tuned - so it will be better later on. I'm sure Brad am aware of the situation.
The ideal tax- and spending-rates depends among other things on your morale-status. As long you keep them happy you can increase taxes.
Yeah, it's a bug reported before and they are working on it.
Have you checked your morale status? If you increase taxes the population get angry and you get less.... So if you go for improvements that increase morale, you can get higher taxes, since you wont piss em off quite that easy.
Hi, gonna try to answer some altho I'm not a SD employee.. First, the one you have tried is Beta 1Y, 2 is not out yet. :) 1) is on the todo as stated before. 2) AFAIK the resources are not redistributed at this moment, but I hope it's on the todo. 3) Population growth are (or will be) affected by for example morale, so it's not possible to predict. Atho there could be some stats on the last year/decade or something. 5) Hmm two ways to go there....is i
Sounds very nice to me. As long as it doesnt take away time from bug-fixing :) Might take quite some time to balance too, but would be fun.
IMO it adds value.
Will you integrate the library function in the DGM-client?
Strange, I have not seen this at all at my home-cumputer running WinXP. My jobcomputer is a Win2k. Hmmm strange, altho there are more that differs than the OS.
Great
greated = created :)
Yep. Every game greated has a number, as I understand it, and only one is counted even tho you submit it multiple times.
And another thing..I'd like to be able to see is wich ship has a certain targetcircle as target for autopilot. One way or the other. When I see a circle..how to know for which ship? And the grab-empty-space-to-scroll...when one gets to the edge of the map it conflicts with the regular scroll. As reported before.
just wanted to get this one back on the list, because I still think they are good suggestions.
SD prolly already know this, but when using social govenor - the planets go after items in the list even if one entry is a type which there is only one of per race or universe. So all planets builds those social stuff, even tho they arent in the planet's own list. And about that - I have a change request: I'd like to see more info about the social items when one am at the govener-screen making changes. Just the name isnt enough. I'd like to get the same information as I get when I l
Okies. What video-card do you have and which driver version? What windows version?
What's the content of the debug.err-file?
Ahh ok. that was it then. good to know. thanks.
yep. just noticed that 34 is 4.
Hmm well, perhaps two different bugs thenm cause Ive never tried to play with less than all races.
I bought a new survey ship to take the anomalys that pops up in midgame. But I discovered that FoW seems to be broken. Or the ship. Cause this ship goes under the FoW on it's way to the target. The FoW dont clear up around the ship. So I cant see the ship all the time because of the FoW.
planetclass 24 shows as 2 in the list
