This is probably known for you all, I dont know... BUT - I've never played with this many colony ships. Ive get two types of errors. One - Colony Ships on autopilot goes into a system and right out again without letting me select a planet to colonize. Happened at least three times in my latest game. A few lost their autopilots too. The first time I saw one bounce right back was when two ships entered (different) systems in the same turn. None let me select a planet to colon

addition...for building military stuff if implemented, I'd like the main window to focus on the planet...so I can see in what corner of my galaxy it is...since that will affect what I want to build. that's not neccecary for imps/social stuff...imo

Hehe, well, I agree that the OS/2-versions handling of thise became annoying late on in a big galaxy. Ehrrmm..today you can click on an entry in the lower right scrollbox to get the planet with the event up. That's very good. for imps/social stuff: Hmm what about...when a system isnt using a govenor (you will be able to set it at single planets, right?) then use a popup like civ3 with a list to choose from and a way to select a govenor (most probably ppl would want a goveno

Now I have two GCAnomolies.ANOMOLY-files. One in the galciv-directory and on in the data-directory...Not that it makes a problem, cause they both contain the same thing.

Mmm...sorry Brad and the rest...I'm not too fond of the mouse handling either. I hope it makes better cense later on with all features built in...otherwise - Im skeptic :-/

mmm and if I compare to the os/2-game, there's a lot of imrovements I can do quite early in the research. Hehe, but I doubt you've come that far about matching them together, or? In OS/2 one could have a matching pace between those two so one didnt rush off and left alot of the other to do. Now I tend to get _tons_ of imps after a little research. But, a bit early to remark on that I supposse? :-) But on the other hand, it could be exactly what you want, I dont know..

I chose the biggest galaxy and all races, drengin evil/easy, another good/meduim and the rest default. When pressing next/done the game crashed. The last info in the debug.err is: Debug Message: Reading Star Names Sadly I dont have any more info and it didnt let me reproduce the error-situation.

Wow. I'm impressed. I never thought that you'd manage to have such a fast pace. (Specially after it seems hard to solve the DGM-bugs, but you have different amount of resources for it) This is rapidly getting playable. Uhmmm... Perhaps you guys could make a really short presentation of who's working on the GalCiv and what they're doing? Could be intresting. All these handles/nicks confuse me. LOL And about the techs...the ones I like the most is the nice and mean ones hehehehe. It sho

Very easy to swap out to windows and back. Great. Applications that steals focus swaps me out to windows automaticly. Like Outlooks mailpopup. I dont know how my chat-programs will thandle things. Is it possible to prevent application of stealing focus? Ehhh...och yes, it's very easy I remember. I just need to turn them off. hehehehe

Same again, I followed to different computer players race for the same system. The one that did lose found a _much_ better one in the quadrant next to it. It had two good planets, the worst one at the same level as the one they competed with.
