I like chocolate ice cream, where is it? Agreed on the diatribe though, I also find it annoying to read some of those 'I want more' comments, and I'm sure it's more frustrating when they're directed at you.

Kudos to Paul, an excellent suite! Even though I'll have to commit some heresy and say I still like K-TEK better , this is still a great addition to my skin collection! Great job!
Definitely a master of effects, especially stop motion. Earth vs Flying Saucers is _still_ good to watch, even though the acting can be a bit lame at times. Jason & Argonauts and the Sinbad movies are still some of my faves. I.R., a Harryhausen theme? Cool. Would that include a stop motion effects WB skin?
I don't see the problem on my machines (one is 2000, other XP). Both use latest Gimp and WB. The most I've seen is that occasionally the client area of a Gimp window won't redraw if it was covered by another window, which is then moved, but that happens (to me) infrequently. A quick rollup-rolldown or minimize-restore fixes the client area. Probably wouldn't hurt to exclude it anyway.
It's kind of sad, in a way, that so many people can't see the sky without interference (city lights, mostly). If one can find a place well away from any light interference on a clear night (out at sea is very nice, since you can see horizon to horizon), it's amazing how much more striking the skyscape is, and it really drives home the scale of what you're seeing far more than the comparatively meager display one gets in the populated areas. It's one of the most awesome views I'
kona, hang on a second while I warm up my keyboard (Just kidding!)
Nope, that's all wrong. The next episode will be a crossover between Star Wars and Lost in Space. It will be called, The revenge of the Smith! *ducks* Well, I'm not sure it could be any worse! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
I'll echo the other sentiments. I probably visit this site more often than any other (even if I don't post all that much ). I think the news articles (even the Frogboy rants ) are all good reading. Enjoy!
In no particular order: Eddie Izzard Robert Schimmel Rita Rudner Robin Williams George Carlin Bill Cosby Among others, the above have had me on the floor at least once.
Yeah, I missed the 5th, as well, having spent it driving back to Tulsa from Florida (about 16 hours, with stops). The trip was worth it though, a week on the beach is worth the drive
I don't care one way or the other about Moore. The reason I won't see his work is that he has zero credibility from a documentary standpoint. His work is nothing but an opinion screed, which is fine, but it offers nothing substantial to the debate. Moore really is nothing more than the political equivalent of the moon hoax proponents, and so on. Rather than arguing the merits of the evidence and then coming to a conclusion, he starts with the conclusion he wants to reach and picks and chooses th
Nope, As a few others have mentioned, I'd be interested in the subject matter if it were presented by anyone else, but Moore no longer has any real credibility. He couldn't investigate the location of his own head if you gave him a search party and a copy of Gray's Anatomy. Neither this, nor 'Bowling' qualify as an honest documentary. It's really nothing more than a blog screed, writ large. I would, however, be interested in an *honest* evaluation of the subject matter
paxx, The government is nearly always less efficient than private companies. There is no effective mechanism for culling out the little bureaucratic fiefdoms, as without any competition, there's no incentive to improve or replace. As for the government being accountable, that's true in theory, much less true in practice. As long as there's competition in the market, the individual has more control because they can choose to change sources if necessary. You can't change sources
Apparently, one feature is that I can't move the command window just using the mouse . I'm pretty sure that's not an intentional feature
All they need now is warp drive and new uniforms and then we will be going in the right direction. No red shirts, please! DWatson, Paul Allen is indeed a major investor, but I don't really think that's going to be a cause for concern. While he made his money at Microsoft, it doesn't look like he's doing this *for* Microsoft.
Oh yes, this is definitely an excellent event. Private spaceflight is *definitely* a good goal. They're almost certainly going to do a much better job of it than the government.
I now have an image of a cow accelerating towards light speed at the outer rim of the galaxy pointing a fading flashlight at a multi-coloured parasol that's branded with the traditional Chinese symbol for KMart and asking anyone who'll listen "does my bum look big in this ?" You should know that the answer to that question is always 'No' <img src
The operative word is *was*. I guess I was too late for the chocolate, must have been Fuzzy again
/me teleports in from another thread, doesn't see any chocolate, and teleports back out
That's Grift, by essorant. Very cool skin! Should probably call it 'Tim' instead of 'Fred' [Message Edited]
Jafo, the omnipresent watcher of the board, gets distracted by a bit of chocolate. At the same time, a flashlight is accelerated to the speed of light. Jafo doesn't see the flashlight, but, out of the corner of his eye, he sees the photons that might have been emitted by the flashlight (one of which hits the chocolate before Jafo can finish eating it). In a fit of anger at the photon contaminated chocolate, Jafo throws the chocolate at the flashlight, hitting it and kn
Ah, names I'm Zuul. Or Rod. 44 (not walker old yet, at least ) Woke up one morning in Tulsa, OK. I'm pretty sure the aliens did it, probably as an experiment in sensory deprivation
Since the Nobel comes with a fairly substantial cash assignment, I'm guessing that the chocolate potential is quite high! we should apply ourselves to a real challenge! designing a Jafo proof suit! Is that even possible? <img src="http://images.star
Cherenkov radiation Actually, you should be able to see the cherenkov radiation from your example. The side effect of spending *way* too much time with nose buried in science texts
