GW, so how is that supposed to affect centering ships you are moving manually??????

Also note, as long as any one of the other civs has one planet you can avoid a military victory. Has anyone had a victory other than military as yet? Is there code support for the other victories? I have seen posts here that sound like at least the cultural victory support code isn't in the game as yet. The victory conditions displayed in the startup screens will have code to toggle them on or off in a later build (per Cari).
Can't grab it, move it, scroll it, click it, twirl it, ....
Now, try it with the minimap zoomed in at 200% on a gigantic galaxy. Some sectors do not show any ownership. Some ownership archs look chopped off at some sector boundaries. Sometimes space you have explored shows no ownership what so ever, even space around your own planets. All of the areas without ownership that I have seen have the appearance of being cases where the calculations are based on galaxy sizes smaller than the galaxy size I am running with.
I think not. The main menu is for starting the game. I would expect something like that to be in the options menu under either one of the tabs "game" or "interface". A clarification here may be in order. I am talking about ships I am moving manually.
After building two star bases on resources then upgrading one of them the game offers to build a star base with the constructor that just did the upgrade. This happened on previous builds as well, but I couldn't find the originating post. (I really, really, really need a search option on this forum.)
This is still happening on Beta 4A. It doesn't seem to know that the window is already within half a window of being centered. It should allow more room before centering on the ship. (Also, if the ship is totally off screen, the window does NOT center on the ship. Is this what was intended?)
I had a ship completion about 4 turns after a CTD and reload from the latest autosave. A planet was building a ship and had 4 weeks left to complete it. 4 turns later the ship was completed and it started another ship, but there was no mention of the completion in the GNN news or with a drop down.
However, i have lost worlds to other races due to influence.
After starting a game and editing the race abilities for all races, I started another new game. The new game had the same whacky unreal abilities as in the first game.
I retired from a game last night and tried to reload the game this morning. It crashes regardless of starting GC2 from the desktop, CGCONFIG, or SDC. The SE reports are near identical. I am sending the SE report to Scott. The last entry in the debug file says it can't find a ship design I had created. In the game I noticed that the game was making ships available before all the techs had been researched, including defenses, weapons, and miniaturization. Because of this th
Still happening on Beta 4a (0.76)
Confirmed: Project progress is also not advanced. Ships on autopilot are now operating properly.

At least some of these errors are still happening on Beta 4A (0.76). I have confirmed that the date does not advance.
This still happens on Beta 4a (0.76)
I see the following debug error message: *DEBUG ERROR: *** Unable to find required tech ImpossibleTech for Starbase. *** I would think this would cause problems with building starbases, but I have not yet tried to do so. If this message is innocous, please let us know.
This is window size dependent.. The worst I have seen is at about 1131*1140. If it got any worse it would be very difficult to tell where the pointer was.
I have sent a snap shot to Scott. They show up even for races I have not yet met.
It is kind of hard to trade when this happens. None of your own tradable resources can be seen.
This is still happening on beta 4 -- I have only tested it for colony ships so far.
I have only seen a few planet view bonus tiles so far, but they ALL show a 200%. (Before and after a complete uninstall/install.)
When setting up a new game after a complete uninstall/install, it looks like the default race abilities for the terrans is way off. Morale +50, research +10, influence +20, trade +10, diplomacy +40, hit points +10, logistics +6, and all for a federalist party (economics +20). In checking the other races one at a time, they are all similarly whacky.
