This could be a "server down" problem, but... What can I use here to understand what to report on this problem? How can I be sure there isn't something on my system causing this error? This is after a previous attempt to install GalCiv that failed with a message "error 13 data 13", so there is some possibility that this is a problem of residulal data interfering with the subsequent install attempt. Error 13 data 13 while uncompressing explosion.mdl in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

While trying to install GALCIV I got the above message. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Are there any clues or hints for resolving it? I am on Windows ME. My machine is a NetVista with an AMD 1000 mhz processor, 128 meg ram, lots of unused hard disk, etc. Thanks, Jack

I have a specific problem I want to check to see if anyone has addressed, but, with all the loose titles it is hard to find the thread I need.
