I have that problem too, Adni18. Also, I regret that I got a laptop with only 12MB of video RAM and I cannot upgrade it. My video adaptor is permenantly built in, and the resolution is limited by what the display can handle. I do have a nice big display though. Next time I buy a laptop, video RAM and resolution will be a major part of my decision making criteria. At the time I bought this one, it was about as close to a high powered desktop machine as you could get. These days, you can

I don't think that it means only making skins. I think it includes browsing and downloading skins as well.
If I new where the colocation facility was, I'd drive down there and reboot the machine.
Thanks for clarifying that, paxx. I have heard of Donovan, and I'm familiar with Mellow Yellow, but I didn't know that he was the song writer. I also didn't recall the line about the electrical banana. It all makes sense now .. well, as much sense as electrical bananas can make. /me wonders if Fourteen is a persons name or if Donovan had something in common with Jerry Lee Lewis. <img src="http://images.stardock
That's a scary thought. Time Warner has increased my bill 3 times in as many years. It has gone from $35 per month to $50. I used to get a reduced rate for subscribing to cable TV, but not anymore. If they decide to restrict my bandwidth on top of this, I'll have to start considering some alternatives. </A
I'd be interested to know if a day ever went by without at least one post to this thread. I don't recall seeing it drop off my radar since it began.
um, there's already an Adult Themes thread.
This thread is so close to 1000 posts! I guess it's about time I got one in here. I don't have a point or anything. I'm just posting for the sake of posting.
please don't eat me.
I usually spend a couple of hours looking at skins on WinCustomize and forget about the project I'm supposed to be working on. I agree with Chris that music helps quite a bit. But sometimes I just have to let a new project sink in for a day and when I wake up in the morning I am better prepared to tackle it. <img src="http
It skins the titlebar and the tabs. It isn't treated like a toolbar though, so, unfortunatley, it doesn't skin the buttons.
WindowBlinds will skin Tab Launchpad just like any other window. That's how I do it.
Well, the programs already come with standard icons.
No problem, scubaman. Enjoy
Try right clicking the download link and choosing Save target as ... That way you can save them anywhere you want and you won't lose them. After that, you should be able to double-click the .logonxp file and have it automatically import into logon studio.
You have my donation. Thanks for all the hard work and attention to detail. I'm looking forward to your next set.
Ok, take a deep breath. As I posted in your aquaamp thread, this site has skins and themes to use with various programs. Each library on this site has a small block at the top of the page that tells you what program you need for the skins/themes in that library.
Oh, and I've been waiting for a chance to use this icon: Windows 98
Well, you don't have to worry about the start menu. Even with WindowBlinds, you're stuck with the classic one on 98. As for the desktop icons, WindowBlinds will not hide them on you. If you don't see them in a screenshot, it is only because the author chose to hide them when the screenshot was made. They will not disappear if you apply a WindowBlinds skin.
Salete cechin, If your icons changed, then you must have IconPackager installed. Look in your start menu under programs for IconPackager and open it. In there you will see an option to restore default Windows icons.

Are you using SkinStudio to make your skin? Make sure you have the latest build. It includes a section for the logon/logoff icons.
There are a number of Mac-ish backgrounds in the wallpaper library here. Just search the library for words like Mac, Apple, Aqua, OSX. You won't find any actual Mac wallpapers here though. They are copyrighted property of Apple.
I was just changing the icons for some of my most used programs, and I realized there are no full size, 32-bit XP icons for Stardock products. I'd love to have some nice XP icons for SkinStudio, WindowFX, SkinBrowser, ObjectBar, DesktopX, IconPackager, Component Manager, etc. Anyone else? Maybe the folks at Stardock have already been thinking about this. They're usually one step ahead of me (at least).
200IX is a nice skin Davad. As are all of yours. I can always count on your skins to be clean and crisp. I still use Mariner 90% of the time on my work machine. That thing is flawless.
