In the Theme Browser, choose "Windows XP (WindowsXP Beige v0.95)". Yours may say something different in the parenthesis. Then in the Style dropdown at the bottom of the Theme Browser, choose "*Use WindowBlinds Skin*".

Trav: EzPop is a tiny little program that simply checks your mail and tells you if any is waiting on your mail server. It does not replace your email program, it compliments it. I hate leaving Outlook open all the time. It hogs up memory and takes up space on my desktop. So, I leave EzPop running all the time instead. It tells me when I have a new message, let's me preview it, and even delete it from the server if it's spam. Once EzPop has told me I have messages waiting, then I open Outlook and

I think it is fine to put these together without contacting the author. Like Adni18 said, it's no different than uploading a screenshot, since the suite only contains links to the skins/themes, but not the actual files. The only thing I would suggest is to be careful when choosing a name. For example, if you're making a WinStyles suite from an existing skin suite, I would not simply use the name of the skin suite you have assembled, in case the original author wants to make a WinStyles suite for

I think the problem is that ObjectBar can't import certain image formats well, if at all. WB skins with only .BMPs in their XP parts tend to import fine, while skins that use .TGA files do not.

Hmm, I don't know which is less impressive: the "killer" design, the "unlimited" free space (although your hard drive is only 10 GB), the FTP service that's open from 4pm to 9pm EDT, or you spamming the WinCustomize message board. Oh, I forgot about the "skin". That's called a wallpaper, Commander x. Why do I always respond to these things?

If you want to override the safety feature and skin Display Properties, open WB.ini in your Windows directory, and add the line: SkinDisplay=1 Then save it and reload WindowBlinds. As for Windows Messenger, I believe it is a bug in that program. Once WB is loaded, you can exit Messenger and then restart it and it will be skinned. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN=

There was a post here the day it came out https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?id=46059 and there was also a post in the newsgroup. Keep in mind that SkinBrowser is still in Beta. I believe automatic updates are being looked into for a future release. This is the price we pay for being early adopters. <img src="http://images.s

It looked like the window frames were modified slightly, but the titlebar buttons and other buttons were the same. I think the taskbar was borrowed from another one of adni18's skins. Thanks, Jafo. Maybe someone who speaks Spanish could help explain the rules to Arcila.

He has done it again. Many of these bitmaps are clearly adni18's. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2643 Most of them are from his Ambient skin, again. This time, even the name of the skin is stolen from one of adni's, with the exception of one letter. I suspect that Arcila does not fully understand the rules.

I think that Windows XP is introducing the concept of skinning to many people who never knew it existed before. Mainstream exposure like that is bound to make skinning and desktop customization more widespread.

JAFO2, if that is your real name , I don't know what hole you crawled out of, but if you had been reading these boards a month ago, you would have seen much discussion of the subscription topic, and you would know that this site is more strict than any regarding use of copyrighted material. I suspect that the Xbox WindowBlinds skin you refer to WAS authorized, or it would not be here (at least not with the lo
