When playing games supported by Punkbuster, particularly Call of Duty 4, because I have not had this issue with other games. But I get kicked from servers because of a Windows API function error 1311xx. This error is initially an overlay issue, because some game hacks use overlays. But it also includes legitimate overlays (i.e.: chat client overlays, xfire, among other programs as well.) I have searched the internet and there seems to be an enormous amount of API errors regarding the

well, i am going to quit smoking too... i on a perscription called Chantix, my aunt quit smoking using them and she swears by it. Your supposed to start taking the pills before you actually quit and the drug takes away the satisfaction you get from smoking so you don't go through the Nic fits, and the desire to light up goes away. She smoked for about three weeks and continued taking the pills for three months (during the 3 weeks of smoking she dwindled the smoking down and not with will power

Yes they have come far from where they were to where they're at, but I'm sure Microsoft (who is obviously the true rulers of the world...lol) is far from getting sweat on thier brow because of Apple. Sure they have the market on the MP3 play and pretty much own the name, because even when referrin
I have enough trouble keeping an eye on one screen - with this setup I would never know for sure what was going on where.
its really just one large screen, so you get used to it really quick, in fact once you go multi-monitor, you might never go back. I say might because i did only because i got one large monitor now, but if you use 2 or more monitors of one size you cannot just go back to one monitor of that same size, it would drive you nuts, but going to one monitor
I ran dual monitors on a 5600LX 128MB for years and never had an issue. You should do just fine. Now i have 2 7800Gt 256MB cards and ran up to four monitors and never had an issue.
read something about SLI in Vista will mean I'll only have one video card enabled !?!??
I run Vista Ultimate and SLI and i haven't had any issues other than the Vista issues that exist regardless. dual 7800GT's but really SLI isn't what people really think anyways, take the money that you would spend to get the second card and save up for a better single card and you will out-perform the step below. SLI just allows the video card to not work as hard becaus
8800GTX You'll need to make note that your power supply is adequate and the room is 'cool'.
true enough but beyond that, the single 8800 GTX will out perform the dual 7600 GT. SLI doesnt give you double performance on the video card, just that the video card running SLI doesn't have to work as hard as if it were a single card. (basically SLI means the card takes turns which eases the burden of the video card) assuming you have the better version of the 76

Vista takes up a huge amount of space. I did the upgrade version of Vista Home Basic on my fathers computer and with just bare minimun of XP Home and then the upgrade of Vista Home basic, it took every bit of the 40Gb harddrive he has. I ended up getting the Vista off his computer. Vista is huge. But 100GB for system restore? I think is uses about 10% maybe 20 but thats pushing it. But then again it all adds up... It won't take long for a few programs we think as minor to add up t
Hey Goo! I'm trying Windirstat on for size right now. That's pretty hot, lots of info and it's free! Thanks for sharing this. Cp
Yeah, forgot to mention that it's free...lol also check your pagefile, if your page file is managed by windows, then it is possible hi
If you are trying to figure where your hard-drive space has gone, or if you want to visually see how much space a file, folder or directory is taking up. You can visually see how much space the system files take or all the jpeg's or icon files or any particular file. A program called Windirstat is one of the best hard drive utilities you could ever use. Regarding the Winter Wonderland offer This is completely ridiculous. We can’t purchase this suite with out purchasing another suite I don’t want or I have to wait until the season is over to make the purchase. That’s lame. So I decided to go purchase a suite with no Vista support so that I can enjoy this one and come to find out because I use Paypal, I don’t get the Winter Wonderland because it’s offered as a coupon. And for some lame reason Paypal users can’t get the discounts or coupo
