I see a hint of transparency in those title bars! [e digicons]:D[/e]
An interesting idea, but I am unsure if there is the demand. Anyone else want this?
Thanks for considering it, Neil. You guys are really great on listening to users. Even demanding ones like me. :) What made me think of it is the lack of Aero glass in W8. I have REALLY gotten use to glass window frames because, honestly, they are 99% useless pixels of screen real estate. Turning them to glass in W7 brought the important infor
Oooh, I got an idea! Some of those metro apps become almost widget like. The only thing keeping them from looking so are the windows borders and buttons. So my feature request/suggestion would be the option to set a Metro aps window border/buttons to Appear on Mouse Over only, meaning they fade away entirely until the mouse moves over it (sunmouse), or if you want, when the ap gains focus with a mouse click/drag, etc. What do you guys think? Would make Windows
Very nice! For those of us with huge and/or multiple monitors, this will be most welcome indeed. Now the only thing holding me back from switching to W8 is a Windowblinds port, which I am sure you are working on. I need my glass everywhere. :) Kudos!
BUG: Using the Client/Configure/Gear icon to check the connection on any machine comes back with a "Key must be the same error". Everything works fine, however, so this must be something odd in this particular section of verification code. BUG: Stardock Central keeps asking me to install the update (after every reboot) on all three machines even though the About screen reports that I'm running v24 on all three machines. It's probably on the Stardock Cen
Three Dell 30" across the middle and a Dell 24" (portrait) on the far right for print work on main machine A. 23" Acer Touchscreen connected to laptop on the far left for email and touch OS beta testing. So yeah, I'm surrounded by a 180 degree wall of LCDs and they are all running every Stardock customization under the sun. [e digicons][/e]
We'll look into the issues. Thank you! I can't seem to reliably duplicate the Diablo 3 bug. It is still happening, but irregularly. It might be related to dragging an item across from inventory to something else...but...will advise when I can actually be of some use on this one. 8)
I've paid for the upgrade, unistalled MP1 and Acoustic Bridge, and am running MP2 from a primary where there is a computer to the left and to the right of it. 8) First, this is an AWESOME upgrade! Really takes this application to the next level in every way. Well worth the upgrade price for me. [e digicons][/e] The only bugs I have found so far are follows: My main computer used to be on a domain but isn't anymore. MP2 had
I'm a current Multiplicity Pro and Stardock Acoustic Bridge owner. Does the new "Centralize Audio" feature replace/duplicate Stardock Acoustic Bridge or is that something different in functionality? Should I uninstall Acoustic Bridge along wide my installation of the new Multiplicity 2?
Orion, you can run REAL Windows programs on the native Intel version of the tablet. You don't need to worry about the HTML5 Metro or Apple iPad Flash-grade $1 apps nonsense.
The screen resolution of 1366x768 is only 720P
That's the RT version. The higher end Intel version is "full HD" so presumably 1080p at a minimum. It will also be more robust in its hardware, etc., so that's the one I'll be looking at. 8)
Great additions to a great program! Is there a thumbnail view or some other way of accessing multiple Fences "pages"? I can see sliding from screen layer to screen layer as getting cumbersome for 3 or more pages.
Those with and without a touch screen can use the Leap. No smudges.
Indeed. I am much more excited about the Leap than I am Windows 8. Leap has the potential to transform ALL of existing desktop computing, not just small touch screen devices.
Most cool indeed! For multimonitor users, I recommend trying "Make inactive windows transparent" instead of darkening them. This allows you to still see whatever else is going on while still highlighting the task at hand. Along with this, I use "Fade windows to semi transparent when moving and sizing them" on the Movement tab. The combination of this with my all glass windowblinds, windows momentum, and wobbly windows means I have a lot of very pretty "minority r
Unfortunately, they have apparently lost their chance to have their cake and eat it too. While Windows 8 is fine, nay competitive finally, on tablets and phones with touch, it's completely half-baked when it comes to desktop users. From home to business users--the 95% market share MS has built up on the desktop--the invisible control gadgets, removal of the smart button, lack of close gadgets, etc. is going to confuse the hell out of the less techno-literate. And M
Personally I think cheesy is their 'brand new design'. Never seen so much FAIL put together.
I agree. 1985 wants their Fisher-Price colored blocks back...
And now that they've gutted Aero glass out of the desktop interface, I have even LESS interest in working with Windows 8, until Stardock Windowblinds can put it back in. [e digicons][/e]
Just letting you guys know that this latest version works even BETTER on all of my different multi-monitor configurations with the latest drivers from nvidia on all machines. There were some hiccups before on my B setup with the previous release (first pass dual card support), but those are gone now with this RC1. Well done! [e digicons][/e]
By making this a monthly fee, it's now 100% deductible as a business expense. No more depreciating software. [e digicons][/e]
You will see no big changes whatsoever. Everything is about squashing bugs and minor cosmetic improvements now. The major (bad) decisions about Windows 8 happened internally last summer. Any and all feedback will be considered for Windows 9 and, more likely, Windows 10, but they have to get this OS out in time for the Christmas 2012 shopping season.
It's not part of Object Desktop, and the $7.95 is a special price for everyone. Okay, thanks. I remember reading something about it being the offspring of Multiplicity Pro, so I asked. Edit: It's awesome. Purchasing now. [e digicons][/e]
Not that $7.95 is a ton of scratch, but is this already included in an Object Desktop subscription or is there a special price for OD subscribers or for owners of Multiplicity Pro? Apologies if this has been answered somewhere but I didn't see it on the main page.
