Well having worked in the prison system as an officer for 23 years (retired now) he is in for a big suprise, if anything having the celebrity status, he will be strong-armed for things, because he has money, these other inmates have nothing better to do all day long, and it doesnt matter what facility he is in, an inmate is an inmate plain and simple
Funny you should say that, i kinda noticed that myself and i do believe you are right, usually the updates are on tuesdays, but it has been a while since i have had an update,mmmmmm, i dont think you need a re-install, maybe there isnt any, holidays and such, just a guess, so your not alone, if that makes you feel any better
I am fairly new to the forums, ( 7 months give or take) and what i have found, is a group of people who make me laugh when i need it, help me fix problems on my pc, and all around just a great gathering of nice people, especially in this day and age, its a pleasure to come here, knowing this, so i want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Kwanza, and any other holiday ihave missed, but one thing, i have a serious addiction to these forums now, and its all your fault!!!!!!

I have been having a very similar problem, or was i should say, i had to use mycolors and windowblinds and apply themes that way, but they didnt always work, i uninstalled mycolors, and windowblinds and theme manager, ran a utility that was directed by stardock support to uninstall those apps, so i did, rebooted, installed all but theme manager and windowblinds and mycolors works fine now, so in my case it appears theme manager was causing the problem, i can live without it,, no bid deal but
Well the reason i said that, was just recently a friend of mine had a similar problem, the cpu cooler appeared to be attached ok, but when he started his pc, it booted just got to windows and then shut down, but it did make a sound of like an alarm which told me that it was overheating, oh and make sure that cpu fan is spinning when you turn it on, it should be running fast, and for the most part quiet (compared to other case fans)
One thing about this community, it is filled with people who are friendly, willing to help, and just all around good people, which has turned me into a WC addict (which i am proud of)

Make sure the CPU cooler is tightly attached, if it is loose the machine is shutting down because it detects overheating

Not a plug for Microsoft, but i have been using their stuff since DOS 3.3 anyway, I find Vista the best they have done, some customization needed, (xp did too) but i found vista takes less time to install, easier to install, and faster to install than xp, after a fomat yesterday and reinstall, the only thing vista didnt find were drivers for my Intel X58 Chipset and Ethernet, other than that everything was up to date, weird one though, maybe i am a little biased with Vista as i have been usin
I did a recent re install of vista, and loaded impulse, all my stardock apps, objectdesktop plus, windowblinds iconpackager etc, and installed themes for my colors and when it tries to skin it asks for my email and registration, put that in, and i get maximum # of activations reached as well,

this is the one place where you can get away with bad punctuation, at least that is what i have observed, and there is nothing wrong with that, as long as the message comes across in the right way, that is what is important
I have had similar problems, so i just stick to using windowblinds iconpackager and MyColors, i always stick with what i know works even though there may be an easier way to do something
I just purchased this card on Saturday (yesterday) for my new build which is running right now, and this card is quite spectacular, not to brag but my new build is a screamer, and i went with the new Intel Processor i7 as well, for once i am actually up to date with hardware, then again in a week or so it will be "old" hardware, i got a good deal on the card at Micro Center for 189 bucks
