When i was a teenager, around 18 or so, i decided to try skiing, so off we went to Killington VT, got all the stuff i thought i needed (just forgot about taking lessons) so down the mountain i go, right into the first pine tree on the slope, so i had to be taken off in that stretcher thing for a broken leg, and gallons of pine sap that took months to get off my body, that ended my skiing career, i beat Sonny Bono to the punch but i survived

guess i am lucky i just did that speedtest and came up with 29490 kbps
I use the HIS Radeon ICEQ turbo 4850 video card, and it does everything i need it to, very reasonable in price, i do a lot of graphics/photo work on mine and this card handles it without a problem at all, one thing i did invest in for 60 dollars is a temp/fan control system, it goes in a 5 1/2 drive bay, with 4 temperature sensors you place where you want, and you can also adjust the fan speeds, it gives a nice digital readout of the 4 temp sensors, plus it makes your rig look really good as
Well i made the jump to SP2, and it installed without a hitch, is there a difference? well maybe a tiny performance increase, but no problems whatsoever, then again i am always messing with settings and such, that if the worst happens i just reformat and reinstall, and that keeps me busy and out of trouble messing something else up, only way to learn is by mistakes
It looks really good, and oh god i hate these teasers, i am impatient to begin with, and then get teased LOL, cant wait until its completed, looking very forward to it, in fact i will be showcased on the show "Intervention" to help cope with my addiction to skinning and windowblinds in general, maybe the DOC can help me out
They are such a joy, indescribable actually the happiness they bring, just want to hug them and never let go, congrats
actually i downloaded it on the 20th of feb, and it is still sitting on my d drive just waiting, for what? i dont know, maybe the day that if something goes bad, i can just reformat and reinstall
Had the exact same problem with the same processor on a friends machine, and the culprit was the cpu heatsink, i took it off cleaned it up, and remounted it, i think it was never mounted properly to begin with, he has never had a problem since, although the pc made an audible siren sound after it shut down and he tried to reboot
an "error has occured while displaying the previous error" this definitely sounds like bad news, and Norton Crashguard crashing, definitely sounds like a recipe for disaster
this is an excellent blind, just love the colors
I recently received a message (vista 32) The Server threw an exception ( now i am thinking, what am i in a baseball game and it threw an exception instead of a curveball?? or a slider??
Not to bring you down, but i feel no one, absolutely no one was a more dedicated smoker than me, i tried nicoderm patches lozenges, you name it, but Chantix came along (insurance wouldnt cover) its about 120 bucks for it, 2 packs a day here in MA in 14.50 so it doesnt take long to equal out, well the only side affects i had with it, were a lot of heavy duty dreaming, but i will say the desire to light up in the morning with my coffee and pc were gone, the only thing left was the habit part no
jpmurph1, the jp are my first two initials, and the murph1 well my last name and a 1 cause somebody was already using it way back when i was a customer of Netcom, back in 93-95 i believe, and have kept it ever since
pretty funny stuff, also one thing i love doing is reminiscing with people i dont know
Vista SP2 (Beta) was released thursday i believe, i did dual boot vista/xp on my system, and vista is noticeably faster, then again, it is a new system with new hardware, i think vista handles the newer hardware better than XP, and i was a die hard XP fan for years, once i built this system i havent looked back at XP,
I use Microsoft Natural Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard 7000, which i purchased about 2 months ago, and i love it, i had previously used the 3000, but i like the ergonomic, it tends to help the wrists, the 3000 my wrists would burn after typing for a long time, not with this one though, little time to get used to it, but well worth it
I used Vista to create the second partition,(administrative tools-computer management) then booted off win7 dvd, and installed it without a hitch to the partition that i had created using vista, it actually took less time to install win7 than vista
I saw a mention of "cane toads" arent they those giant toads in australia, i think i saw something on National Geographic channel about them, and they hide in the mud and only come out once a year or something like that???
I was unaware of that, if i renew now, i wont lose subscription time, i thought it would restart when i renewed, thank you again
I had some problems with Theme manager, so when i did a format/reinstall of vista, i only installed MyColors and Windowblinds, and skipped thememanager, and i have had very few problems with the exception of Soundpackager (removed)
We do have a worldwide recession kinda going on, when you see police and fire department laying men/women off, that is a good sign that the outlook is bleak , yes i will renew shortly as i do spend a lot of time here, and to me it is well worth it, i do spend a lot of time here and on my pc as it is cheaper than doing other things
I recently installed it, just for the heck of it, as i am not really a sound effects type of person, anyways, it ran ok for a couple of days, but my pc acted "weird" at times, well on the 3rd day, the sounds were extremely distorted, and then stopped working all together, so the uninstall etc, and i am back to normal,I agree with Lantec, some type of driver/software conflict, now i have reached the stage where i am really curious as to why it behaved like it did, Oh i am running windows vista
THis entire post kind of proves that quite a few of us has too much free time on our hands, "not that there is anything wrong with that" "Seinfeld"
Oh that pic of that inflatable sheep is priceless
TLJ, what a nice thing to say, yeah i could tell you a lot of stories, WC is a great place to hang out, no ifs ands or buts about it
