Do Military starbases no longer prevent planet invasion? As you can see, there is a military starbase in the system, but I'm still invading and conquering enemy civ planets.
You can only install a certain amount of weapons platforms on a ship because each weapon system (Kinetic, Beam, Missile) has different mass. When I calculate the damage per second per unit of mass it seems like missile weapons are useless to use. Seems like you simply can't do a reasonable amount of damage at all with missiles and there is no point in even installing them onto your ships. The AI ship behavior seem
Hey, thank you for your feedback! Technically this information is already in the game. If you hover your mouse over any citizen, you can read their description. But I can see how this information can be missed, as a big screen with all the details would for sure provide an easier access. How would you feel about such a report being in the power graphs tab? Or rather in an extra tab, when you enter that menu. [/q
I can verify that the Orbital Prison eliminates crime from my entire Civ in the 1.60.417998 Custom Civ games I've played. Criminals still popup as new citizens but that's probably not related.
Jesus are you rich! Are you thinking about just similar projects as with credits, or something different? And would you want them to be unlockable with tech, or available from the start?
That's blood money from the Corporate Sector, they gave me $900K to go to war with another Civ, then I got that Civ to pay for peace. The AI seems to create credits at will, but then gives them away. I was thinking that
Just wanted to let you know that Custom Civs are working much better with all the improvements you've made in the last couple of updates. You've really made this feature of the game fun for modders again. Here's a save to show you how it's going with 1.60.417998. The one thing I will point out is an AI exploit I just found. You'll notice the Torians have given up our war and have declared that they're turning over their Civ to the Navigators. However if y
Since you have a cap on Civ wealth of $1M, you need some new projects for core worlds. Might I suggest: Control and Culture. These two are always in short supply. Wish I could come up with a really cool suggestion, but even Influence would be better than nothing. Culture is totally broken now with the high cost once you get up around 9 or 10 ideologies chosen. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/18/60/1860429/d9e97b2d-9b83-43fe-a080-1b9a76519
Not sure when this feature got added, but I have a shipyard that flipped to me when I conquered the planet that was it's sponsor. The planet reverted to a colony and the shipyard lost its sponsor. That planet should never have been a core world, Torians made a useless Corrosive world their home, but there was another world in the system that was worth making a core world. I hadn't decommissioned the shipyard yet and I noticed that the red bars now said sponsor instead of con
"Boris the Annoying" is back. Just got the Prospector event for the 2nd time, so it doesn't look like this unique ship was caught in the Praxis fix. https://www.dropbox.com/s/re7htx7p9yexoss/Supernova%20Insider%201.60.417998.1.038.GC4Sav?dl=0 <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/18/60/1860429/acb7101e-596c-4939-ab33-04aec45f0f02.png" alt="" width="913" height="
Yes, the card decks would be returned held together with the rubber bands that I had put around them when I submitted the deck and inside the greebar paper on which the output of the program was printed. The other fun thing I remember was using a Magic Marker to draw diagonal lines across the top edges of the cards in the deck to make it easier to put them back in order in the event that I dropped the deck before I got the rubber band
Yes, I think that would be great for helping custom civ players get immersed in the game. I don't do custom ships so I don't really know what they show on the cards, but I'm sure players who use them would like them to show there also.
Still getting duplicate Stargazer ship events, but at least I can take the money instead on this one - https://www.dropbox.com/s/3sfxjmsf4ybsfwi/Supernova%20Insider%201.60.417998.1.003.GC4Sav?dl=0 <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forum
This has to be the worst Class 20 planet I've ever seen [e digicons]:([/e] [e digicons][/e]
Did the Galaxy Settings settings get dialed back? I'm getting considerably fewer Stars, Habitable Planets, and Extreme Planets, under the Abundant setting than I was seeing before 1.60.390049 and .417998. Resources seem to be consistently plentiful under Abundant. (37) above <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/18/60/1860429/8
Would it be possible to show custom ship designs, mainly just thinking colors, in the ship control pop-up?
Unique ship reward events like Praxis now occur once per player. Thank you! Renamed Arcean Siege Ship to "Trebuchet" (addresses a duplicated name). I reported the same thing for the Altarians, did they get fixed?
I think they're nice, but not in keeping with the rest of the UI style. I actually prefer the old icons for this reason. (Designing UIs are part of my real-life job, so this inconsistency bothers me.)
You know, I was kind of put off at first also, but they grow on you. Since they really expanded the number of these Vault Artifacts it makes sense to give them their own look. Wonder if they're
Quoting Zabik_2, reply 1 Thanks for the save file! It does look like a bug, and I will forward it to the team! You can get his ship it is a prospector but Kar is not the leader assigned or has not been in my games has been another name.
I remember another thread with PaulLa
Similar to the Artifact issue above is the "Robotic Star Drone", which also gives a generic Gunboat (Frigate). It would be much more immersive to have the result be a ship called "Star Drone" and it should probably be below Frigate class, maybe something like a Star Eagle fighter class - a beam attack seems more appropriate for a drone. <img
The "Spawn an Overlord ship" artifact does not in fact spawn an "Overlord ship" anymore. This ship type was probably replaced in one of the major changes to Supernova. What you get is a pretty crappy generic Gunboat. Either change the wording or bring back (preferred outcome) a special "Overlord" class ship with at least Cruiser stats . <
Not sure if this is an issue for everyone or just me because I'm play a custom civ with custom citizens, but when I pick Independence under Individualism, I do not get the "famed starship captain Kar Zarkof". I assume he should appear in my unassigned leaders, but he does not. I also checked my shipyard and no prototype ship with him appeared either. https://www.dropbox.
Seiko75 - Just to let you know Dropbox and Discord are both free for the basic version. They're very good apps (nothing is 100% guaranteed safe in life, so always use protection [e digicons]}:)[/e] ) used by a lot of people on this forum. Dropbox is a great utility for securely sharing files - the person your sharing with has no access to your computer. Discord is a hosting site and is used by Stardock for all its newer games, it's a lot busier than the normal forum.</
It's not doing it any more. Must have been a glitch that fixed itself when game got reloaded. I'll let you know if I see it happening again.
Currently he's know as "Boric the Annoying" by the players [e digicons]}:)[/e]
It would help to know how many of the ship upgrades and Orbital Improvements we have left like the Artifacts in the Vault screen show. Some are unlimited, but others are finite based on how many times you have uncovered them (like the Artifacts). Nothing worse than using your last one & then finding a better use for it 2 turns later.
