Seriously, uploading a few of my creations here has really let me see how sensitive I am to how they are recieved, "out in the world". I have felt tweaked by the ratings aspect, but I think a little honest self observation is healthy at such times, and I find that my emotional reactions are often more about something that needs fixing in me, rather than something "out there". Just my $.02.

wizardking - It sounds like you are looking at the contents of the download as a zip file, which it actually isn't - but someimes a browser will reset the extension. The extension should be ".dxpack". If the file you downloaded doesn't have this extension, then just rename it and then execute it (with DesktopX loaded). This should then import the object to your desktop.

Bill - If you look in the documentation under "Tutorials" you will find an article on Scrolling Content, with a sample object. To really get the most out of DX, you will have to really dive into scripting. Another object to take a look at is my example on Auto-hide/docking: Link Take a look at the script, the comments will help you to understand.<b

You answered "yes" to 77 of 100 questions, making you 23.0% sexually pure (77.0% sexually corrupt); that is, you are 23.0% pure in the sex domain. Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 44%, based on a comparison of your test results with 879613 other submissions for this test. pure->corrupt (more guilt-shame-life supression terminology )</fon

I checked it out just now - looks like quite a few immature egos over there, still building themselves up by knocking something (or someone) else down. Makes one wonder what they might have actually created on their own.

I'm currently working on a new DX Theme, and I would like to have a WindowBlinds theme to go with it. I'm not finding anything already done that really works for me, so I'm hoping that one of you great skinners out there would like to colaborate. I'm including a link to a screenshot of the theme as it stands. Link

Corel Draw will definitely export a png file with a transparent background - I do it all the time. Just make sure on the export to check Selected Only on the first dialog that comes up, along with PNG as the type, then check Transparent Background on the next dialog, then select Masked Area on the last dialog and hit Ok. That should give you a png file where whatever was transparent in your selection will be transparent in the file.
