Would I be correct in assuming that based on past practices that an AOL 8 skin would be allowed here as long as AOL did not choose to request that the skin be removed (a la microsoft)?

Can't get it through CM, as I haven't been able to get it to work for months. I've been using the web interface for downloads, but I don't see this on there any where. Am I missing it or has it not been put up there yet?

Find one you like that's colored and greyscale it. Doesn't always turn out great...but sometimes it does. The wallpaper in this screenshot https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2904 was originally blue, but I greyscaled it and....voila!

Yeah, that is unacceptable considering that there were supposed to be two suites "in the coming year". That was 2002, by the way. However, I do not want a refund of my 20.00. It's not, and never has been about the money for me. After all, it IS only 80 cents per month right? I've let TechWin and a few other Japanese and German mags use my skins in the past without incident. Didn't see the harm in it as long since they did ask permission and gave me magazines and CDs with the skins on them.
No, I haven't been around much lately unfortunately. I work in retail, and I have very little time to do anything other than work between Halloween and Christmas. I have three skins that are almost done though, and will probably be uploading them after the holidays are over.

Once upon a time I cared about the ratings I received. That was back when the site placed the emphasis on ratings by peers. The way I viewed it back then was that I knew how much joe user liked my skin, by how many downloads it received. On the other hand, the ratings were a tool to help me get better, because my skins were being critiqued by other skinners. Things are different now, therefore neither of them really matter to me.
