I haven't fiddled with sounds for a long time, and don't have skinstudio handy, but I think in your UIS you need to have SoundEnabled=1 instead of zero. Other than the sounds, all seems to work well.

In the past week there have only been 4 new WB skins uploaded. A bit strange since I think the average number up submissions has been up in general lately. Is everyone busy with other stuff? Personal stuff, doing commercial skins, burnt out like me? Just curious...

Jafo....I certainly don't want to be seen as defending someone who attacked treetog. I was one of those skinners who left Custo in disgust after the attack on treetog that happened there. However, I see very little similarity in this "situation" and the one that happened then. Not to get too picky with your response, but this site is directly related to Pixtudio, as their suites are available for sale here in the Stardock Store. And finally...how can you classify this threa

treetog...I, and pretty much everyone else know in this instance that your intentions were good, as they always are. Myself, I think it was great of you to do. rated pg....Let me clarify....neophil has a right to express his displeasure with this situation because he is a customer of pixtudio and he paid for the suite. In my mind, there is a difference in him stating his opinion regarding this a

I don't understand why every time someone makes a complaint about something, they are immediately branded as being ungrateful to the community. In this instance, someone has made a complaint about a company (Pixtudio) and issues related to a product that they paid them for. Does he not have a right to voice his displeasure at others receiving for free what he paid for? Perhaps a public forum such as this was not the place to raise this issue though. Treetog had to realize that there wo

Updating older skins has really helped me get back on the ball. It helps me to just start doing something with skins when you get in a funk like that. I've been in one for 3 months now and am just now coming out of it (I think ).

That pink rectangle that most of us use is not the actual user pic, but the user pic background. Using a transparent background allows you to move around the actual user picture to where you want it (to a degree). The actual user picture is not set in the .UIS file, but from your account settings in XP. Hope this helps.

What color depth had you used originally, and what did you reduce it to? Im my very limited experience it is very difficult to reduce the color depth and still have images look the same as when you were using unlimited colors. Try starting out with a more limited palette.

Ditto to what many others have said... I welcome comments such as...."I'm not crazy about this part...maybe try this", etc. But to just say I have no interest seems pointless. I have to think that the only purpose of it was to irritate me, which it obviously does to a degree.

Ahhh, he didn't really hurt my feelings or anything. It just baffles me how some people can have so little respect for people who give their work for free. If someone were dissatisfied with the something that they were expected to pay for that would be one thing. But if it's free and you have no interest in it, just move along.
