Though "Jill" may agree with me, that was me that you quoted, not her. Oops... sorry. Still a valid point.

Passage Genesis 1:27:27 So God created man in his own image,in the image of God he created him;male and female he created them.I felt it necesary to correct you in your comment when you stated "our" in regard to G~d. This is not plural. Perhaps he was speaking of Genesis 1:26... "Then God said, 'Le
I believe Jesus' payment was made for all believers regardless of their time.We are judged by the light we are given. So if a man is born on a desert island, never hears about Christ, he is not lost (well maybe like the series but not his soul ). Creation is God's witness to Him. He will be judged according to the light giv
Jesus wasn't born until the year 0, but did that mean he didn't exist? Nope... I'm with ya <TD class="mb-Body-Quote
So, the "Jesus factor" is quite significant, indeed. I'd have to agree with this. *s* Even within the realm of "Christianity," there are major divisions. Many groups consider themselves "Christian" -- not only evangelicals -- and yet they all have different views on Jesus Himself. I don't
L... Lose Matthew 16:25 - "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it."
What do you think? Was salvation the same for the men of the Old Testament as it was for those after Jesus came? This is something I really struggled with early on in my faith. How could salvation be the same for both if Jesus hadn't even been born when Abraham was alive? And if they weren't saved the same way, then what does that say about the consistency of Go
My favorite of the night was this fellow named Taylor Hicks. (He was the one near the end who kind of looks like Jay Leno.) I liked him, but I am not exactly sure why. I wonder how he'll do once he'll have to sing more "pop" songs. He seems like the type who could do a really good Elvis if he practiced a bit. </TABLE
Ok... I'm motivated again. :) After following the WW diet sporadically for the past 6 months... with little to no will power, I decided to break down and join. I cancelled my membership to Curves (since I was rarely finding time to get in there anyway) and instead will put the money towards a WW membership. I didn't know if it would be worth it or no
I also know I don't want Hillary to run because it would mean a campaign long struggle with keeping my lunch and blood pressure down. LOL... love this! Ditto!

To those of you who take the bible literally, do you believe in capital punishment? I take it literally and figuratively (posted somewhere above), and I do believe in capital punishment. I don't think you've seemed hostile on this thread.
I think it's cool that he's learning this! Very cool! Precious stuff, kids. I've always loved reading. I was reading the Bible (so I've been told) before I hit kindergarten. My parents thought maybe I was just reciting from memory, but then they put the newspaper in front of me and I read it too. Still love to read. Thanks for sharing, Tex... between your son's kindergarten teacher and Dora the Explorer, he'll be multi-lingual by age
"Man With 11-Woman Commune Had Stun-Gun?"--headline, Reuters, Jan. 27 Wonder if he was tempted to use it on himself to end his misery... LOL

((((((((((((((((((((((((J))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Definitely not June Cleaver -- but I love you more than you'll ever know... and I'm not going anywhere.
Mason... welcome home. I'm so glad it's working out for you! I bet it's great to be back at work... congratulations! Don't overdo it at first... and take care of you. Nice to have you back.
((((((((((((((((((((KFC)))))))))))))))))))))))))) I love you.
I was under the impression that unless you have a known connection to Al Qaeda, your phone is not being tapped. Is that not correct? If that is indeed the case, tap away. Heck... tap my phone anyway, I don't care. Let the government hear me tell my husband I love him, yell at my daughter for not calling to tell me she was going to be late, and order flowers for my mom's birthday. Whatever. LOL.
The only one of the three I saw was BWP (years ago), and I'm so gullible sometimes I can't stand myself. ROFL... that's all I'll say about THAT. As for "Brokeback Mountain," I can't decide if I'm impressed by the clever marketing or disgusted. I have no desire to see the movie. It would be a waste of my time. Michael Moore? Ech. What's to say? The man's an imbecile with nothing to say worth listening to.
Kezia squinted against the brilliant sunlight pouring through the window. She closed her eyes and arched her back in a stretch to work the kinks out of her overworked body. All was quiet in the brothel, but that was typical for this early hour. A long night of drinking and carousing meant lazy mornings for the inhabitants of Achmed’s. She smile
That's an HC hug *g*

People can't accept it from God but they have no problem accepting it from lesser beings like humans. My kids see my "wrath" they see my judgment of their actions. They also see my love. And I do those things because I love them. I don't understand what is so hard to reconcile. If mere mortals can do these things fo
