In order to use the themes, you will have to install WindowBlinds first..... .... Sorry, couldn't help it with this thread title. I naturally assumed you were a 12 year old, absolutely 100% desperate because he/she wasn't able to apply a skin. Chocolate? You don't need chocolate! Chocolate tas

Hi Agraben, Sorry, yes this problem has been solved a while ago. The trick was to actually apply and run a Windows Dreamscene before installation. I initially tried to install Deskscapes without Dreamscene actively running on the Desktop and Deskscapes would not recognise Dreamscene, even after rebooting. I assumed having Dreamscene installed would be enough, I then could always choose a Dream and run it from within Deskscapes. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/S

Just upgraded to "Feisty" yesterday, and thought it ran quite a bit faster as well. And best of all; it got rid of my "you have to boot three times"- Problem.

Like noiram I believe that these are the "Copperdeck II" Icons which Apocalypse recoloured to green for his own use. If this is the case, he will not be able to give you those. However, you could download CopperDeckII and try to recolour them by yourself.

I love Ubuntu and I wouldn't mind buying a computer preloaded with this OS. The improvements in usability and simplicity that Ubuntu when through over the last couple of years are just absolutely surprising. The only external driver I had to get in order to make Ubuntu work on my new system was the Nvidia-Graphics driver, and even that one I was able to get through Synaptic. I think with Linux mastering one of the biggest turn offs in the past (the decompiling of software b

I would contact Stardock sales (sales_at_stardock_dot_com)about this. I might be wrong, but I thought that Premium Suites did not "expire". In any case, the sales team at Stardock are usually very helpful and might be willing to provide a new link for you. I would suggest you back the theme up next time you download it.

Object Dock Icons are usually zipped .png files. Extract the contents of the zip-files to a folder and then move the .png (or .ico-files) to your 'My Documents\ObjectDock Library' -folder. Once this is done, right click on an empty spot on the Dock > click on "Add" > "New Shortcut". Then right-click on this new shortcut (which will look like a big question-mark) and choose "Dock Entry Properties". In the Menu that will pop-up enter a Title for this new shortcut (e.g

I know that won't help you much, but I noticed that the only application that I had successfully downloaded and installed through SDC using the "broken" 141 build, refused to archive as well until I updated the application using the "good" version. Pitty you are on Dial-up, otherwise you could try and re-download the application through your current version of SDC and then archive it.....

got version 2.42.449 build 141 I've asked them to remove that build Bichur. This is the exact same build that doesn't update to the better 147 build and that caused me and a couple of other people a lot of trouble when trying to install Deskscapes. See this thread: WWW Link In post #21 Zubaz gives a link to an older version of Stardock Central, which then sho

The reason for JJYing's Skins causing problems for some people is not known, but it is thought that it might have something to do that they were written on a Chinese system. It is not the first time that one of his skins causes random errors for a small amount of people, I remember "Azenis" having a similar problem initially (I think it was triggering false-positives from Anti-Virus software). However, for "Arzo" no simlar errors were reported, and I would suggest to delete the

Where do you have magic pink? Do you want to use it or do you want to get rid of it? Magic Pink has the RGB attributes: R: 255 G: 0 B: 255 If you want a bmp-file to be invisible (100% transparent) you have to set it to those numbers. It only works on bmp's though (to my knowledge). If you want to get rid of visible Magic Pink in a WindowBlind or other skins using bmps, you have to open the bmp in an Graphics Editor and correct the pink part (make sure

Restore points ususally only remove software, but typically leave your private folders and your email alone. The easiest thing therefore would be to find the email Stardock sent you when you bought the suite, containing your download link, and redownload the suite by clicking on the link. Alternatively go to Stardock Support , enter the email-address under which you purchased the suite, and you will get sent an email containing you

I would suggest to browse Pixtudio.com , if Treetog ever made one, it has to be there. I don't think other skinners ever added to this suite, since it was created as a contract. (that doesn't sound right, but its Sunday morning and I can't think in English that early)

Thanks Zubaz!!!! My version didn't update all by itself, instead I downloaded the version provided in your post #21 which then finally updated to 1.42.449 Build 146. Deskscape updated with this version of SDC with no problem at all. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif" border=0 align
