What did update to the newest version correctly? Deskscapes? Did you use SDC to update after you installed version 1.01 from the link provided by LickServ? If yes, to which version did it update? sorry to ask holes into your belly, I am just still trying to fix my problem.

Sorry andrew, got confused with all those similar post suddenly created/revived... As to my earlier report: The recent list in the forum sometimes fails to update single threads. To explain that a bit closer, there are threads that I have read but that still show the "unread" or "new posts" sign in the front. Even if I close the Browser and come back an hour or so later this post still shows as unread. Other posts (again in the recent posts list) don't seem to update i
I got sent a bat-file by Stardock support and a link to the newest version of SDC. The bat-file was used to uninstall the previous version of SDC and erase all leftovers. However, the link provided in the support-email was to the exact same version of SDC which Snowman and I already have. ...short, it didn't work. I sent back a report and gave them a link to this thread seeing that I am not the only one anymore. I will keep you up to date, but I don't think a
I think there was just a bug in this thread where 3 previous posts (before Fuzzys reply) disappeared. ....or maybe I am going crazy?
SDC doesn't seem to update any further, even though "check for alpha/beta versions on startup..." is ticked. Tried to uninstall > reboot > reinstall, SDC did not update to a newer version.
I filed a support-ticket about that yesterday. I was asked for my DxDiag-file, which I sent back immediately. I'll inform you if I hear about a solution.
Adblock Plus and NoScript are some of my most liked extensions for Firefox, while StumbleUpon has absolutely no real use for me and the DownloadStatusbar clashed with something so that I had to remove it again. I guess tastes are different.....
Maybe not to you, but I'm still wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes....... ditto
He, He Bebi, I was hoping you would jump in here. I assumed you would have those shortcuts somewhere at hand...
My gaming was 5.9 until I updated to the latest nVidia drivers. Typical... Yea, my gaming dropped from 4.8 to 4.7 as well after the last Nvidia "update". That's what made me thinking...
Bump again..... maybe someone sees it this time. Problem is both in Deskscapes 1 and Deskscapes 1.01
Try booting into Safe-Mode, and then try deleting it from there and reeboot. And make sure you install Logonstudio for XP next time.
Bootskin or Logonstudio?
I believe Stardock only releases the full versions (e.g: 1 or 1.1) for free, the Beta-versions are for ObjectDesktop subscribers only. as kind of a "preview"....

I was actually searching the site for this suite two days ago and couln't find it myself!! I was suddenly not sure any more whether I really had seen it, or whether I just imagined it!
That's good news, hopefully it will be acted upon!
Which part of "it was Microsofts decision to make Dreamscene (and therefore Deskscapes which currently can't run without Dreamscene) for Vista Ultimate only" don't you understand? Do we need to tatoo that on you forehead? Your money did not go into the development of Deskscapes, as you never paid for Deskscapes. You paid for Object Dock and that's what you got.
once you get used to it you will find your computer is naked without it. Thats exactly the way I feel without Right-Click! I have become more and more depended on Right-Click, and after a while I realized that I hardly ever used OD anymore, so I uninstalled it to safe the ressources. But I certainly will give it a go again.
I think there is a little tutorial included with Logon-studio Some other Links with info about Logons: WWW Link WWW Link
I am at work at the moment and can't compare the files, but another thought... are you using Vista 32bit or Vista64bit? 64bit Vista is (not yet) supported.
In that case the best thing would be to copy and paste your WindowBlinds info here.
According to your profile you are not a Stardock customer. My guess would therefore be that you are using the Trial-Version of WindowsBlinds and that the Trial-Time has run out. An easy way to solve this problem would be to buy the full Version which displays the Arrow-skin as well as all the other superb transparent skins out there without a flaw. By the way.... your pictures don't s
Have the same problem here.... Bumb-edi-bump
a mode where you can keep the dock always on top, but it automatically switches into autohide when there's a maximized application. clever eh? Sweet, I haven't used OD for a while now because of this and other (ressources) reasons, but I might have to install OD again when 1.6 is released.
