What would the world be without a good argument now and then? It would be just too boring without!!!
Great, Thanks a lot!!
I know you are going to hate me for this, but: Would you be able to provide a list with the Names of the updated Docks? That way I can just check my "never-ending and ever-growing" list of Dockbackgrounds and see which ones I have to download. <img src="http://images3.stardock
This sounds so outrageous that I have a hard time believing it. Come to think of it; it is stupid to the point of being rediculous. After all each an every family has more than "two comfortable chairs" in front of their TV.
Do you have any Docklets running on your Dock (I assume its ObjectDock rather than ObjectBar)? If so, try to remove one at a time and see wether the leak persists.
That's certainly one of the more original jockes I have come across lately. Hehe I especially liked the bit about security: " 3rd Party Opt-in Disables nearly all pre-installed non-Microsoft software to prevent potentially vulnerable controls from being exposed to attack. You can easily enable or disable required programs as needed through the Add-on Manager by using any valid credit card." <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 A
Yes, open StardockCentral and update through there.
Maybe: View - Textsize - Normal??? I am using Firefox too (1.5.0.7) and don't have this problem
Excellent improvements. I love that the comments-button disappears and I am also looking forward to the bigger thumbnails in the "detailed"-view. Is it possible to implement a feature on the new site, which allows the subscriber to choose which galleries will be included in the "newest" section? I would looove to see such a thing, that way all the non-bo
Clear and easy to use dark-and-blue skin. Thanks! I found that "The Preface" by dar0ckx http://www.guichamps.com/skins2006.asp?skinid=620 fits perfectly and is more complete than the included Icon-Package.
I believe uploading is currently not working the way it should. There are severeal threads reporting problems floating around right now. Hang in there; your Rainy looks really cool, and unless the zip was corrupted or the skin didn't work, I don't see a reason why it should not have been accepted. I really think it was a bug in the system.
A must have. Thanks for a very beautiful and complete high-quality Theme
Well, research without an open internet access would be almost but impossible. Accessing online Journals, and online search-engines (e.g. Web of Knowledge, OVID,.....), communicating with other scientists on news-groups, exchanging information via dedicated Websites, sourcing and ordering research equipment online.... At least in the research sector, the net has actually increased productivity. Only 10 years ago it would take sometimes hours
but I've always wondered where Fuzzy Logic came up with his......... you are sooo evil Lantec!!! Yea Fuzzy, tell us, where did your name come from, and what does it
I replied to this earlier, but the server ate my answer... I know it's strange. It seems to keep/remember all the icons except the folder-icons. Unfortunately the only way I found to change the folder-icons permamently is by changing them individually (manually). <img src="htt

My stance has always been that I would wait for service pack 1 before I would upgrade to Vista. It's just the way it is and has been with most of Microsoft's OS. I agree though that pushing the release date back and releasing a more complete OS would be better. It was always my oppinion that Microsoft would have it much harder with releasing a new OS this time round. After all, most people are very happy with XP, which has been the most stable in the "Windows"-series so far. T
Allready? I was promted just the other day to update to 1.5.0.5. ditto I am on dial-up !!!! \ Thanks for the info though, Island Dog <a
iPods tend to get whiped clear when you first plug the connector cable into the computer (or the wall socked, if you use the USB-charger) and then try and connect the cable to your iPod. After that happened, the computer can (for no logical reason) no longer recognise whether the iPod is connected. The only way to solve this problem is to reformat the iPod. If your son makes sure that he connects the cable to the iPod first, before connecting it to either to the computer or wall socket, whip
I once wrote a whole crash-course about where to install Bootskins or not. The compact version: On out of the box systems: Don't install On Laptops: Don't install On custom made systems: Try it Bootskin might work on certain Laptops and "out of the box" system, but if you are not computer savy, don't risk it.

If Windows is asking you what program to use to open CurXPtheme-files that means one of the following: 1. CursorXP (the software program, see the Link in my first answer, klick on the word "Link") is not installed on your system, or did not correctly install. Solution: Download and install CursorXP (the software program, click on the word "Link" in my first answer to go to the CursorXP website and then click on "try"). If you already installed it, uninstall it > reboot t
I just had an idea, and I probably should have asked this earlier but: Do you run WindowsXP or Windows98? [Thanks Wreckless Eric ]
Does Cursor XP show up in your Programs-List? Does it show up in your "Add or Remove Sofware"-list (that's in your Control Panel).
