What exactly did you do? Can you try and download a different theme? Once the file has the extension *.curXPtheme , does Windows change the icon for it? It should. Otherwise it might be an indication that CursorXP is not installed correctly on your computer. Did you restart the computer after you installed CursorXP on it?

I am not on a English speaking system at the moment but I try to help you as good as possible. Open up Windows Explorer, then go to Tools > Options (or maybe Folderoptions) > View > and uncheck/untick "Hide extensions for known file types" > click on OK. After you have done this, check again your downloaded file: 1. is it a *.curXPtheme file (does it say that after the point?) if yes, try to double-click on it, if nothing happens try to copy (right click >

No, do that right after you downloaded the file. But only do that when the file downloads as a *.zip file instead of a *.curXPtheme. If the file downloads as a *.curXPTheme (it has to have that extension)try to manually move the file into your CursorXP\themes -folder. Exactly which cursor did you download?

I have been a subscriber for years and i was going to renew on September 9th anyway, however, i got attracted by the OD 2007 excitement and what happened today was just an early renewal, was it not? I am not a Stardock employee, but I think you got that one right. OD 2007 is already (mostly) available for current subscribers of the ObjectDesktop

You need to download and install CursorXP (the program) from here: Link first. Then reboot and your *.curXPtheme files should install automatically upon douple-clicking on them.

Had to look up "juddering" (non English speaker here) So what you are saying is that when you mouse over the dock towards the right side the mouse-over effects are all jerky, and slow to react, but are fine when you mouse towards the left side? Have you tried out the different settings under "Appearance Tweaks" in your ObjectDock Properties? Try to fiddle around especially with the settings y

You should be able to change all your icons by right-clicking on them - Dock Entry Properties.. - Change Image. I usually keep my dock wide enough for all icons to show, which of course means I don't use the scroll feature and can't help you there.

I for myself use the "fun"-skins for much shorter times than the "useful" skins. The fun-skins usually reflect my current mood as well as the season and/or holidays. I keep a heap of them around and I switch dem often. For me they are a pleasure to look at whenever I boot up my computer and they often lift my spirit. As soon as I have a lot of computer-work to do, espceially things like Excel-calculations and Databanking, I find myself going back to the sleek, and stylisch/fun

Would anyone be able to tell me when (approximately) the new forums are accessible through StardockCentral? Right now when I try to post through SDC (which still seems to use the old forum), I can't create any linebreaks. This is NOT like the previous problem where line-breaks just wouldn't show up, but as in: "nothing happens when I hit the [Enter]-button". Sometimes this happens right on line 1, sometimes I am actually able to create a paragraph, but later on thats suddenly not possib

On a lot of tech support sections, before they allow you to contact the tech support directly, they make you search for your question in the forums or FAQs. Maybe something like that could be arranged here? That's an excellent idea. Even topics like this one have been posted again, and again, and again.... (I remember them Koa <img src="http://i

Wow, how delusional can you get. How about this creazy conspiracy: Conspiracy theory? Where did I say this was some conspiracy? A conspiracy to do what? Topple the EU? Sorry, but I can't follow you, as this is not my line of thinking. How can you start four hate threads abouth the same topic(and if you weren't the owner of this sit

Before submitting this post I got an "server not available"-error Ok, I edited above post to add the "Nope, seems to work well....."-bit, and although I ticked "plain text" format, I lost all the code again. Note that the initial post through "post comment" worked fine and showed a line break between "account" and "Test". It's just the editing that mucked it up. I tried to re-edit the above test several times and submitted it in "plain text" but each time it just resets to "Htm

Trying this from Home with FF 1.5.0.4 to see whether the error has something to do with the account. Test line break Nope, seems to work well, but so does the older version of FF now. Whatever you were doing with the "error handling", it obviously did the trick for me.

I would love to be able to distinguish the threads in which I have posted a comment from the others. Also, I agree that having a tick as a sign for something that's not done/read yet is a bit tricky. I would prefer to have it the other way round with the unread threads maybe having a red (different colour) sign. NOTE: trying to post this in Advanced Mode using the "Plain Text" Mode. There should be a line break between "sign" and "NOTE".
