Thanks a lot ama02 you're a champ. , although I was kind of hoping there was a way to also back up the 500+ Windows updates since SP2 , having SP2 is already a big help. WebGizmos ; Oh yes, I really don't look forward to spending almost a day on the comput

Sigh, my HD on my Laptop is on it's way out. I have had that suspicion for a while now (strange "scratching" noises coming from the HD, little Errors popping up here and there, (small) loss of data), but I just got confirmation with SMART telling me during Boot that I have to back-up and replace it NOW. I can't affort a new Laptop at the moment, so I want

Jaramia: In order for the plus/minus thingies to show correctly you should have the following files in you ObectDock folder (they have to be in the parent-directory and can not be moved, otherwise they won't show) plus.png minus.png If these files are on said locations, then those Question-marks are most likely unused/unassigned shorcuts, which always show a question mark (right-click on them and choose "Dock Entry Pro

1. The Plus/Minus signs appears automatically when your systray-content exceeds the width of your dock. 2. Yes, just left-click on an icon and keep the mouse-button pressed until a window pops up. Then you can click on "Change image for this tray icon" 3. Do you mean on the shortcut for the Flyout-menu, or do you mean on the menu itself? Yes, if its the shortcut (right-click and "Dock Entry Properties") No, for the menu

Not an easy way to my knowledge. The only way I can think of accomplishing that, would be to make a custom taskbar in either Object-bar or DesktopX and then getting rid of the Windows taskbar. I have to admit that I don't use ObjectBar and don't know whether it would be possible or not, but DesktopX should be no problem. I just think ObjectBar would be easier to use in the long-term, since it has the ability to import/use the current Windowb

Thanks for this truly original suite! I had it on my desktop all day yesterday, but early this morning, after pulling myself out of the warm bed, your "Psycho"-logon-screen hit me with such a force that I was wide awake, even before I had the first cup of coffe!!! .... I later on changed my desktop back to something more quiet.... <img src="http://images3.stardock.co

Where did you download it from? Did you purchase the full version, or did you want to use the Trial? If you purchased WindowBlinds you should have gotten an email with the correct download link. If you have purchased WindowBlinds as a part of Object Desktop you should be able to download and install a working version of WB through Stardock Central. If you want to use the Trial, try this download link here: https://www.

In that case..... Why not 'this damn thing is still bloody slow...pull your finger out and fix it' I second that notion since this is exactly my opinion <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sm

I still get the "Server too busy"-Error regularly. Don't know why, even when its not the weekend. The Discussion panel in SDC has stopped working for me altogether in the last day, I only ever get compilation-errors. See below; Compiler Error Message: BC30455: Argument not specified for parameter 'AdZone' of 'Public Sub WriteAd(AdZone As String, [UserLevelAccess As SDNetLib.CustomerLevel = CustomerLevel.Subscriber], [AccessLevel A

You will need Windowblinds https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ to install the ChaNinja-Skin you find on Wincustomise. You can download and install the trial, so you can decide whether to buy the full Program (or as I would recommend the whole Object Desktop Suite https://www.stardock.com/products.asp). I belive ChaNinja made the original (and now a bit outdated) version for msstyles. You should be able to find this version on Dev

If you buy something and agree not to copy it, and then subsequently copy it - then you have just violated the agreement. That completely eliminates one's right to make backup copies. I want to be able to make backup copies of my Music CD's, so I can take them in my car and it doesn't matter w

Although I might have not been very happy with the fact that there were no updates on OD for a very long time and that most of the developers seemed to have disappeared from WC in recent times, I have to say I appreciate your honesty and I thank you for this information. ... and Jafo (#3) was right, I am now really looking forward to get the new goodies. </

i can change to builder mode and right click properties on the menu the tabs that come up are, general/relation/states/summary. Good, that's all you need. If you want to create another shortcut, the easiest way is to just clone an already existing shortcut (right-click on the shortcut and click o

I believe you need the full version of DesktopX to do so. If you have the full version, change into the Builder and then right-click onto the menu you want to change and click on "Properties". You will get to a new menu which will allow you to change just about everything (e.g. font, size, short-cut,...). <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCusto

open SDC, right click on WB - you'll see 'archive application' with options. That won't work. You can reinstall WB by using the "Restore Archive" button, but you still have to activate the product online after installation. By the way; a cracked copy of WB5 was already available online whe

He was one of my favourite characters in that show. It was so fun to watch how G'Kar grew from an annoying prick into a wise gentle leader during the show. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted vi

I think that WC subscribers or Stardock buyers with more than five years in the books get the pre-alpha / not-released-to_the publc builds. That's be cooler taht an outdated premium skin or two. I second that motion!! <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
