What exactly do you need 'languages' for? Do you need a German translation of one of the menus? Do you have trouble understanding OD? You can change any tabs and/or labels to suit your language. If you need help understanding some aspects of OD or need a translation of some of the menus I can help you out if you want. I can't really change the program, but I can provide you with a German translation of some of the menus. <a hr

There are a few docklets out there that you can add to your dock, which act as an email notifyer. Download these, extreact (unzipp) and move the resulting folder into your ObjectDock\Docklets folder. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3958&LibID=29 https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=4391&LibID=29 <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/w
Do you have SP2? If yes, is the Windows Firewall enabled on top of your Zone alarm wall? > try to disable it. In Firefox: did you check Tools > Options > Web Feautures > Load Images? If yes, is any of the WC sites listed in 'Exceptions'? (remove them if yes). Did you un-check the 'for the originating website only'? In IE: did you check Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia > show Pictures? Is any of the WC-sites listed as r
Most of the WB skins do not support large font settings, however, some of the skins do support them. The bad news is that I don't know which ones. You might have to spend some times in the libraries reading though the skin descriptions, or someone who knows of a skin that supports large fonts is invited to mention it here. <img src="http://images.stardock.co
You mean how to change the tab-background to the one in the Creenshot? Open the Configurations Menu > Tabs and Styles > click on one of the tabs > then choose Xenon from the dropdown-list under Style > then click on the 'Apply this style to all tabs'-button at the bottom. Note that 'Xenon' does not include the icons, just the background. You will have to download the icons (I believe they are the the 'Neon' set by JyriK) and change th

He, he, thimble: That one was just too easy, especially because it turned up on this forum a while ago already.
YOu can always do one of the following. Either Boot into safe mode and LogonStudio should not start up. Then you can delete the faulty logon in your LogonStudio folder and set LogoStudio to the default folder. Alternatively. Boot into the command promt and use the deltree command to delete the folder with the faulty logon in it. Then reboot and set logonStudio to use a 'good' logon. (e.g. deltree c:\Program Files\Stardock\LogonStudio\NameOfFau
Huuuh? What do you mean with "I was not able to form it in the WindowBlinds"? Are you aware that Y'z toolbar and WindowBlinds are two completely different programs?
Yes, after installation, Norton Antivirus always started up as disabled. Also, never worked with Photoshop Elements or OfficeXP. After a while it stopped working completely and I uninstalled it.
Are your DPI setting higher than normal? Right-click on your Desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > General, and check your DPI settings if they are set to 120 (large) that might be the reason for your off start-button. If you set your Font size (DPI) back to normal (96) everthing should be fine again. (you might have to restart the computer to see the effect though). However, if you find that the normal DPI setting makes your fonts unre
You obviously have OD+. You can just create a normal zoomer dock and under the Dock properties > 'Dock contents' click on 'Show system try icons on dock'. (Note that you can only have either the system tray or the task bar on the same dock, never the both.) You can then delete all the other (default) shortcuts on the dock and you have your own little systray dock which you can set to 'always on top', so that it will be visible all the time. <br
Did you rund CursorXP configuration? If you have specified a cursor there it should be applied the next time, provided you have put the shortcut to CursorXP.exe in your Startmenu, and provided Windows has shut-down correctly the last time.
Right-click on the DesktopX icon in your systray and click on > 'Switch to Authoring mode', then right click on the object in question and delet it. Important: Back up the theme before you start deleting objects! Some objects are interconected with other parts of the theme and you might end up deleting more than you want to (especially if you delete all the 'child-obejcts' as well) <img src="h
Right-click on an empty spot somewhere on your dock. Click on 'Add' > 'New Shortcut' Then open the 'Dock entry properties' (in a tabbed dock this dialogue will pop up all by itself, in a normal dock you will have to right click on the newly created 'question mark' icon and then click on 'Dock entry properties'), and use the 'Browse'-button under Link to search for the folder, or you can also enter the path to our mp3-folder directly (e.g. D:\My mp3
Ahh, you obviously use the free versions of the program. Just hang in there, I am sure the free version will get updated soon. Btw: stardock Central is the name of the program through wich all the ObjectDesktop programs are installed and upgraded (https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/St
I just changed the name of one of my folder-shortcuts to a 20 letter expression and it showed up no problem. Are you changing the name manually, or are you just accepting the name OD puts in there for you? Try changing it manually and see what happens. P.S. What version of OD are you using? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Br
You guys are just silly!!! I can code too you know!!!
Hi guys, make sure you have the latest build of ThemeManager installed (2.19c(b).002). There was a bug in earlier versions with wrong URL's after the "big switch". This has now been corrected in the latest version. If you use the free version of ThemeManager, hang in there, I am sure it will get updated soon as well. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted vi
Most power icons you can download are just that, an icon and no more. However, there are a couple of Docklets out there that will allow you to power off directly from the dock. You can then use the power icons you downloaded to change the image of the shortcut: https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=4599&LibID=29 https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=407&LibID=29 Note: make sure you read the
I would love to see some sort of configuration memory built into DX. Right now as it stands, I would love to use more DX themes, but I just can't be bothered to spend an hour or more (and yes, even the 'easy to configure' ones take that long) configuring my shortcuts and the layout, each and everytime I want to try a new theme. Most DX authors like gef, boxxi and others use some sort of sidebar/tabs which can be configured for the personal sho
I believe the reason OD+ doesn't show up is because there are two versions for it. If you have OD+ installed it won't give you the option to install the free version anymore. I believe the same goes for CursorXP and CursorXP plus as well. The reason for this is most likely because many people would try and install both versions on their computer > a proven receipe for trouble. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 A
Yes steesu. There was a problem with suites downloads but that has been fixed with the newest version, which just came out today (or late yesterday). I tested this version and suites downloads and application now work a treat. It is very important that you install the newest build 2.19c(b).002 through Stardock Central. <a href="../resources.
