I just read your other thread about your worries about jpgutils.dll and Koasatis answer #9 to that . Maybe your problems with LogonStudio resulted from NAV diabling/quarantining this file? Or did you even remove it? A reinstall should help in that case and you most likely will have to tell NAV that this file is not evil. By the way, I have this file on my computer as well and my NAV (newest definitions) does not see it as a threat. <img src="h

1) what do you exatly mean by Taksbar Icon? If you don't want the Dock to show the running tasks; right-click on an empty spot on the dock > dock settings > dock contents > and untick "show running tasks on the dock". If you want to remove the OD icon in the systray. Sorry, I believe that is not possible 2) Weather code for Oslo/Norway is: NOXX0029 To look up other weather codes go to http://www.weather.com and ente

Uhh, ooh this is really a headache. If you have the same problems with all the Logons, even with the ones that got included in the Program. My second guess would be that your installation of the program somehow got borked up (is that even an english word?). I don't know whether you have already tried it, but I would uninstall LogonStudio through 'Add and Remove Programs' > Reboot > and redownload/reinstall LogonStudio. Do you run an E

The most likely reason that you have the single files instead of either a .dxpack or a .exe (widget) is that your windows somehow did not recognise the extension and downloaded the pack/widget as a .zip instead. Change the extension of the original file you downloaded from .zip to .dxpack (which the Aero Processor information should be) by right-clicking on it and renaming the extension, and you can install the file as usual. <

Make sure you have the absolutely newest version of Theme Manager installed. Most links to older suites were broken in older versions of Theme Manager, since the launch of the new Wincustomize site. However, this problem should have been fixed in the newest build of Theme Manager. If you are a Object Desktop Customer, upgrade your Theme Manager through Stardcok Central. If you use the free version, download and install the newest v

The .cur and .ani files are not important. They are just cursors (cur) and animated cursors (ani). The important files here are .icl (icon library) and .iptheme (icon packager theme). The .icl contains all your icons, while the .iptheme contains the information where each of this icon goes. You said you found a folder called Cryo which contained these files. Is it in your IconPackager\Themes directory??? If not, move this folder into

Go to your LogonStudio\"Name of the logon that cause problems" directory and open the Theme.ini with notepad. Count from the top 14 lines (don't count the lines in brackets). It will say something like: ScrollButtonUp=Bitmap_110.bmp Note that the Bitmap number might vary, depending on the logon you use. Then check whether you have a .bmp of the same name in this same folder. If no, try and copy the bitmap from another logon t

If you just right-click on the object you want to change and click on Properties, you get a menu with several tabs that lets you change virtually everying (you still need new graphics though if you want the object to look differently). P.S. make sure you run DesktopX on Authoring Mode (right-click on the systray icon of DX and click on 'Switch to authoring mode'. If the top most entry in this right click menus is "Configure DesktopX", then you

One reason would be that the skin is a bit older. Task-pane skinning was just implemented in Windowblinds 4 (me thinks, or maybe 3.5?). So if the skin was made before that, it would not support this feature. Another reason would be if an older ms-styles would have been ported to WB and the porter did not take the time to supplement the task-pane bits. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/ico

Strange, I thought I had replied to this thread yesterday... Which version of WindowBlinds are you using??? Versions 4.3 and lower had difficulties skining the taskbar and the start-menu, on computers running an AMD64 Processor. This problems has however been fixed with newer versions (4.4 and 4.5). Upgrade your Windowblinds through Stardock Central or uninstall > reboot > download > install the newest available free version.

what good is the Archive feature, if there's always some random file 'missing' when you attempt a restore? I sooooo totally agree with that. I had recently gone through a several hour session of trying to roll back a version of DesktopX, just to find out that NONE of the 7 versions I had would install!!

If you download something from the OD library that isn't *.docktheme then unzip it: if the unzipped folder contains one ore more *.png files then move this folder into your ObjectDock directory and apply/change the icons by right-clicking on your dock-shortcuts > dock entry properties > change image. If the folder contains a couple of *.png files plus one file called background.ini then move this folder in your ObjectDock\Background directory

unzip the file (if it is a .zip) and if the unzipped folder contains lots of .bmp files move it into your LogonStudio directory. If the unzipped folder contains one or more .logonXP (note: it is not .xplogon !!) and double-clicking on it doesn't work, rename it to .zip and and unzipp and move it to your LogonStudio directory. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Post

Which version of WindowBlinds are you using? There used to be a problem with older version of WindowBLinds (4.3 and lower) and AMD64 Processors. Download the newest version of WindowBlinds and uninstall the old one > reboot > reinstall. Or upgrade through Stardock Central.

Try to right-click on the download link and "save as". This will download the file to your default download folder. Then have a look at it. If it has the extension .ip you should be able to just double-click on it. If it has the extension .zip unzip it and move the resulting folder into your IconPackager/Themes folder. If you still have trouble open IconPackager and try to import the downloaded files via: "Install new Packag

andre2015, I tried to reply to your thread (about 10 times) but somehow it seems to be broken and none of my replies show up so I try and answer your question this way. Arrrggghhhhh, I just posted a reply here and it disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's try this again. If the themes you downl

Does the theme you are trying to load have the extensions *.docktheme? There are only very few themes out there you can download. Most downloads in the OD section are either png-icons, or the background. If you download something from the OD library that isn't *.docktheme then unzip it: if the unzipped folder contains one ore more *.png files then move this folder into your ObjectDock directory and apply/change the icons by right-clicking on y

Did you ever dowload and install the Stardock Program called "Right-click"?. THis is the program Night Train is referring to and is the only program I can think of that would cause the 'recent documents' to show up in the right click menu. If yes, follow the instructions given by Night Train. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/St

ODImg.dll goes into c:\Program Files\common files\Stardock . You are not the first one to report this after a fresh install, and the only thing I can think off is, that you somehow got an incomplete download. Maybe you should reinstall again? When I searched for this file on my computer I noticed that I had a (newer!) version of ODImg.dll in my c:\Program Files\Stardock\SD Central\Backup folder. Maybe you have this as well? <a

Remove each of these Docklets, one at a time. More than likely that one of these other docklets (or maybe a combination of two docklets running at the same time) are causing the problems you described.
