Hi you, I think you are on the wrong site here. StyleXP and WindowBlinds are not the same. StyleXP is just a hack of the uxtheme.dll, which someone got the nerve to ask 20$ for it. WindowBlinds is a standalone application which doesn't mess with your system file (doesn't hack anything), and skins much more feautures of the GUI on top of it. If you downloaded the 'theme'/'blind' here on this site you will need WindowBlinds

Do you mean the DesktopX opjects, or ObjectDock shortcuts? Have you tried to insert the '-mail' extension into the 'Arguments' box of both of these programs (right underneath where you insert the short-cut path for your application)? When exactly do you get this error message? When you start up DesktopX, when you start IconX, or when you just boot up into Windows? If the latter applies, which programs (DX or IconX) are running at boot up? IconX was initially integrated into DesktopX and was therefore installed into the same folder (as in our case). I usually just hide the Desktop icons by right-clicking on your destop (just in Windows) > 'Arrange Icons By > and untick 'show desktop items'
Unfortunately that's a problem with older suites after the new Wincustomise site was put into place. The URL's to download the components of these suites point to the old servers, which no longer exist. I would recommend two things: 1) Try and download the suites which are larger than lets say 500 KB (up to 5MB). Sorry to ask, but are you using WindowsXP? The 'kernel32.dll'-question in DesktopX usually only shows up in non-XP systems. Note that the current version of DesktopX only supports WindowsXP and can't be used on WindowsME.
