It could use some work... its not bad per-say but could use some 'cleaning up' Some of the edges could be crisper and like the top of the start menu looks like its not really part of it but sitting on top. If thats intentional then I guess thats fine. Concept is pretty good and there is a 'loyal following' of those who like dark or black themes.

An excessively loud cooling fan can also be an indication of other issues besides heat. Phoon might be on to something there.... However, if you are not having any true problems other then just the noise then I would say get some different fans. My new pc has 6 (counting the power supply, cpu and vid card fans) and I never hear a one so there are quite fans out there (and yes they do run when 'called upon' to do so, I just don't hear them).
Yeah, I'm not sure I've ever seen a 'blurred out' look like that before. I do agree with Shelby in that all the taskbar images should be the same uniformed height or it will cause problems.

I agree to an extent that there is a lack of female 'higher ups' in the promotion of skinners, but there is an overall lack of female skinners too. Many skinners get overlooked for promotion when they probably should be. I hung around as a journeyman for what seemed like an eternity. Being promoted on WC has to do with many things and not just skinning ability. Its also the overall contribution to the skinning community. I personally think you should be promoted beyond Apprentice by now

yeah but stretching a 800 pixel wallpaper to 1900 doesn't look so go no matter what you do as for the 'old' walls, they can always be edited to suit if the submitter wanted and/or placed into the 'other' category in the mean time...
Recently I got a new monitor and its big... making it not a typical wallpaper size. I had the idea that maybe a new feature could be added or created for browsing the wallpaper section. this could make it easier to browse the now 9000+ (and growing wildly) wallpapers here. Knowing it might be alot of work to set this idea up, I'm just 'throwing this out there' for possible feedback and so 'the powers that be' might see it and consider it... so here goes... I would also suggest the MSI mobo... I'm using my first and am more then impressed. However, I'm running an Imtel/nVidia setup... not that that makes much of a difference really. My ultimate suggestion would be to get a mobo that will also eventually support a quad core processor as well. As for the vid card, just make sure it will have directx 10, maybe even crossfire capability (I believe thats equivlant to SLI for ATI cards, the mobo will have to support that as well I think). You
I am assuming the site made record of your IP and in the original 'register' and your *new* account is still on the same IP (I don't personally know the details of how that works). I guess thats the price to pay for not registering with your own information to start with. WC is a good site and the more you use it the more your going to want it and all its features. Subscribing to WC is worth the money.
