DC, ZubaZ does have a point in that this thread is way off-base. Wal-Mart chooses to sell what they want and even makes its own prices to the companies they buy from. As a Business they have any and all rights to do so. You don't have to like it or agree to it. You don't have to shop there, these things you are 'complaining' about are available elsewhere. As for alot of the other things (which according to DC, do not apply to this thread), this country isn't perfect. I agree Bush is an

jojo25, the pink is BRIGHT heh... sure some will like it, not exactly my 'cup of tea' but design wise I don't see too much wrong with it. The green start menu is nice, maybe a little too much beveling and all going on there. Patrick, man thats sweet. Will be intresting to see how a final product will look with that.

heres what I got going on.... maybe within the next month it'll be complete.. as of right now its about 70% Vista ready then some of the XP stuff needs to be done. Some changes already made since this ss Oh, hey John, I finally figured out the IE7 tabs all I had to do was restart lol

Ok, first off I'm going to state I have not read ALL of this topic but all of this thread and I get the 'gist' of whats going on. Originally I can see how vStyler was taking it personally, and thats a shame as seeing there is a broader issue in 'labeling' as it were. I agree that anytime a 'Label' (such as 'Community Project') is placed on something then there should be a clear and concise explanation of what the label means. Much the same as when I walk through the grocery I know what

[link="http://skasch.com/images/wontdie.jpg"]Screenshot Image "Won't Die"[/link] I tried once to 'crash' my Vista rig... just wouldn't happen, I was actually just tring to raise the cpu temp. Check the red boxes for the cpu run %'s, memory usage and temps. Here is what was running... 5 DX gadgets, 8+ sidebar gadgets, Photoshop, xchat, IE7, Streaming webcam AVG and Defender both doing scans WMP, WinAmp and Xion all playing ... all that with the Aero GUI, guess

Yeah of the numerous people who I have talked to who have given Vista a go all but one has liked it and that one person didn't have problems with it, they just liked XP more is all. Now so far as skinning it... my quarrels with it have nothing to do with Vista itself but rather SKS6 (finding a specific 'item' in 6 seems to be more of a pain then in 5). Other then that its just more parts and pieces.
Vista is not a better choice than much XP that is clear. A different choice but better nope.
See, thats just YOUR OPINION which happens to be shared by a few. Most who have switched over seem to like Vista more then XP and like myself have had NO problems with it. Its not slower then XP for me, it doesn't bog my system down in any way (even with dreams, photoshop and more running), programs open faster and smoother then in XP and the OS itself is more secure and less buggy th

I'm soooooo in agreement with Snidely (comment #62) on this whole 'I hate Vista' threads, post and so forth. I moved to Vista a few months back and I wouldn't want to go back to XP unless I was forced to. My laptop is still XP and I really hate getting on there. As for the 'Ultimate features being a bust'. How can a full/complete system backup be a bad thing? Granted certain things like the dreams are a bit of fluff and serve no true purpose other then just being cool.

I like photoshop just the way it is, I'm using CS3 and don't miss ImageReady at all. The new interface is actually much better but if further changes end up borking and/or leaving out current features then "No Thanks". I've been using photoshop for coming on nearly 10 yrs and am very comfortable with the way it is. These 'changes' should come as an option so those who are accustom to it are not left wanting the old one/way back. I understand how new users find it a daunting program and

Well, I'm trying to post some html code to use for sites so you can post the images above as a link... seems to be coming out odd, but it is useable if you Highlight on the code in the 'code box'. Small Banner

I have not run Astonshell but have run their new Aston2 Menu which is pretty cool and it works with Windowblinds. As the others said before, Astonshell is much different then Windowblinds in that it is a shell replacement and Windowblinds I think could be seen as more of a shell enhancement. The best thing to do with any and all programs such as these is run the different programs for a bit and figure out what you like best. Everyone is different and you will eventually figure out whic

I was looking for a suggestions thread but didn't seem to be able to find one (maybe a stickyed one like this thread would be a good idea, hint hint) so I'll post my suggestion/question here... First off let me say I am 'mostly' pleased with SKS6 so far... Back before per-pixel frames a skinner was able to create animated and 'other' titlebar buttons. We can still do so on those same non-per-pixel frames but not on the new per-pixel ones. Are there any plans (or can there b
