I am Stephen Colbert of Borg... Borgs, When the Collective assimulates something on Monday, we assure you it is still assimulated on Wednesday -- no matter what happened Tuesday. I am Stephen Colbert of Borg... When you assimulate something right the first time, you never have to assimulate it again.
Third What is a USI2 Frame? I kind of know but is it an alternate option to perpixle window frames? Can I just skin perpixle frames and leave USI2 frames alone.
Generally UIS2 frames are pre XP and inner program windows... such as an image in the photoshop work area. Also, if a skin does not have the perpixel frames (at all) the UIS2 frame becomes the default.
I love the Stephen Colbert!
Was about to say the same thing. That 2nd screenshot looks too much like a spuff of his show, too cool... hmmm wonder if someone should 'point him to it' he'll probably say something about it on his show, he does have an ego like that heh
I'm surprised Vista is running at all with only 512mb ram.
Especially when it calls for a min. of 1GB and 'should' be 2GB really I would also suggest more ram basj, money might be tight but in the long run its well worth it and an extra 512 shouldn't 'break the bank'.
IconDeveloper is a free download. An enhanced version supports additional file types.
What exactly is ment by this? Is this something that is going to be available to current OD subscribers? (Sorry if the program page explains this, I haven't checked it yet)

I'm running an 8800GTS on vista ultimate with 0 probs so far... nVidia has a new update for it but I haven't run it yet, I did the beta for it awhile before the actual release and found I lost some display settings (screen sizes) but it worked just fine and actually increased game resolutions to full screen (1920 wide) which previously were only 1620 max. Generally I don't run betas and have not tried SP1, waiting for that through WU ;)

Just thought it would be cool to see the entries 'side by side' (so to speak)... jouketje's set SKOriginals set DigitalCHET & Bebi Bulma's set horizon's set canmandeco'

I agree 100% with horizon, a mixed set would in the end just look horrible. Also, if mine are not chosen then they will be easily accessible to others for use elsewhere after the contest (maybe downloadable from the smiley gallery here) ;) I don't think any entry should feel bad about 'not' being chosen, all are great and nothing like this is ever a waste.

hum... uh, I think I could join right? [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=23892&libid=8"]July 4th[/link], my very first upload to WC.... I can't blame them for making it a 'personal page' item though, don't even know what I was thinking myself.

Yeah rippers are everywhere... :p There are a few sites soul purpose seems to be 'premium' stuff.. all tend to get shut down but I know of at least one thats been shut down and brought back numerous times. Sad what people do these days. Rippers be warned, you will be found, you will be harassed, you will be stopped :(
I'm curious, when you work on something that's going to be that small, do you work in a larger res and then reduce the size? If so is there a "rule of thumb" for how much larger....2X, 3X etc.
Those were done at a resolution of 48x48 (twice as large) and the resulting pngs scaled down to size. For something so small I find it easier to get more detail that way, only thing is it takes some 'trial and error' to make sure that detail shows properly once its scaled down ;) <br
