I got a new PC awhile back and got Vista U. on it. I didn't see a reason in sticking with XP seeing my older machines already had it on there. Now I cringe every time I have to get on one of the XP 'puters. I've had no issues with Vista and actually prefer skinning for Vista over XP now. As to the Vista bashers, I just don't get it personally. I don't want to knock anyone who wishes to stick with XP but Vista isn't all that bad and will do nothing but get better as time goes. XP has had many man

Thanks Skinhit, you can also thank CerebroJD for the mock up. Buzzz is something JD came up with a long time ago and never did anything with. I remembered him showing it to me way back then and asked him if he would like to see it done and he said sure. Ofcourse given the changes in skins since then and my own personal touches its not going to be exact but will be close .

There was a minor problem with those on XP with long user names showing the last few letters of it on the start menu. The problem has been identified and fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience, shorter user names (such as my own) would not have noticed it. The skin is in moderation once it is back out and you have purchased and experienced this problem just re-download the skin. Again, sorry for this 'glitch' but these things happen even to the best of us sometimes.
Have to say, without feeling too much of a whiner about it....as a relatively new customer to Stardock products, the lack of support and documentation with software leaves much to be desired.
Stardock is on Holiday break. Things like this are not that common, I'm sure it will be 'rectified' as soon as possible.
I'm having the same problem too...help me...what should I do??
My first suggestion will be to wait till stardock returns from Holiday break

No need to turn this into a Vista vs XP battle.... for whatever reasons everyone likes what they do (personally I have np with Vista either since 'moving on') Stardock and WC has done well this year, much more so then last year I think. So I would say over all "Good Job!" My only complaint would be beta releases that hardly work. Many were very buggy (not going to 'call them out'), maybe a later release with more of these 'bugs' fixed would be a good thing. Even though these p

Ok, my latest skin has been done completely in SKS6 (ok well close enough to say so, about 99%). And there are a few things I have seen that are driving me kinda crazy and wonder "What were they thinking?" My latest is this... there is no way for WB6 to 'see' an included sidebar skin within a WB skin without an .sss (substyle file) in the skin. Out of everything I have tried and searched/looked into, this one thing seems to be the only way WB6 will see the sidebar skin. This is the
I dunno, anytime someone mentions Britney...well, um, Spears springs to mind and I start thinking all things feral. Hope they don't call it Britney Springs cos she swam in 'em once... like yuk, you'd never wanna let that water ever pass yer lips agin.
lol, I believe it was named back in the gold rush ages (after all this area is the home of the 'original' 49ers). Don't think she was alive around then
