How about an option to turn off the auto-email notifiers? No offense but I'm get tired of seeing 4-10 emails (which I never look at anyway) all the time just cause I'm watching someones skins/topics/articles whatever... old site didn't do that, you went to your watchlist on the site to check those things (ie. on your own time).
Hope all is going to turn out for the best Stephen.
Sounds like rather a unique problem. I agree, never heard this one before
The only thing I wish more skinners skinned was the hover image on the "All Programs" button. It wouldn't take that much longer to skin would it? Read 'A Complete Guide to the Start Panel: Pt 2' and see section #5 WWW Link Hope that helps explain that part at least.
Suggestion: The 'search' on the main page should also include member profiles or have some sort of option to do so. Currently it only shows skin/submissions and there are ALOT of members who never submit anything but may be active.
I use CCleaner all the time, good show MySecret
This is your site Frogboy and you should be able to have it run anyway you feel. Personally I see nothing wrong with what was 'posted' but thats me. People take offense to alot of various things and there is no way to please everyone. It like they used to say about TV.. if you don't like it turn the channel.
**Update** The new site is up and running great..
we can't wait to see you all there... here's a little something extra for you SkinningNetwork Logo for ObjectDock
you know its a sad day when someone offers up a $1200 program along with another and guarantees it.. yeah I'll stick with the 'real' thing thanks :/ I refference to Corky_O's reply... I'm sure whatever compatability problems Adobes programs are having with Vista will soon be corrected.
lol nice one Jafo
"The Most Ridiculous Windows Video Ever" <--- best explination ugh... I would think a company with as much money as Microsoft would have cutting edge right on target ads (even back then). But your right, historically MS hasn't had any 'stand out' campain ads.

Many people in this thread are right, you will have the people who just got the have the 'latest and greatest' but, XP will still be around for quite some time as the top OS. I'm thinking like quentin94 said, it'll be well into 6-9 months before Vista users will out number XP ones (who knows maybe even longer with the fact that alot of people will flat out have to get a new PC). But, Stardock & WC do have to prove themselves as being able to advance and stay with the change as quickly a
Wow, guess I should check the forums more often time time time
For those of you who have tried to create a Per-Pixel ShutDown and LogOff and just can not seem to get it to work here is why. There seems to be a glitch in the coding where 2 lines of code are not present and must be put in for it to work correctly. You will have to go to the top center tab 'Code' and look for the [ShutdownDialog.BackgroundPerPixel] and th
I love the idea, way to go WC/Stardock for getting on top of this idea finally and offering such a feature to the skinners out there.
Amen, can't wait for the 'more to come'
ok, to join the IRC you have to tipe this on the "Join Channel": #heavyequipment or simply /join #heavyequipment
Keep a look out, this might be in the works for a better 'organization' of things like the tutorials. For now a good extensive list of links to tutorials are at Skinning.net: http://www.skinning.net which I have already spent some time compiling.
No matter what you're skinning some where along the line your going to probably make a button. This is a quick guide on how to make a multi-state button image quickly in Photoshop. The concepts here can be used in many programs from WindowBlinds to Rainlendar. First off you need to decide the size of your button. For this simple tutorial I’m going to make a s
This tutorial will cover all the buttons, backgrounds and other extra tidbits of the start panel not covered in part one. Part 1 can be found here A Complete Guide to the Start Panel: Pt 1 and goes over the basic start panel’s images. This tutorial is going to be long as it is intended for thos
Speaking of photo retouching, I think some more practice behind the camera is needed hehe
