Dwarf: Forum posting is a priviledge. We understand you are unhappy with the game/service/whatever. Going from post to post complaining is not constructive.

When we receive a problem report we pass it on to GPG who works on it. They also have features in development in parallel. Working on one doesn't affect the other.
Shameus: You are unlikely to get any ETAs to things you consider "bugs". Brad is unlikely to address any questions that have a hostile tone and knowing him would more than welcome hostile users to find different games to play.
No game is all things to all people.
We look forward to your game. :) In the meantime, you may not realize this but Stardock doesn't make Demigod. Demigod was developed and is owned by Gas Powered Games. We freely admit to being imperfect communicators/punching bags but we do our best.
Many people at Stardock play Win7 x64 all the time on Demigod. It's our preferred setup really.
The OP has reached the same conclusion we have. We're are looking at this.
This isn't particularly constructive...
There won't be any video until next year. We're a long way out.
As Brad would say, Stardock betas are explicitly designed NOT to be fun in order to ensure the final release IS fun for the beta testers. The alpha will be more like torture. :)
Whatever usefulness was in this thread has long since gone away.
Any ETA given is just that, an estimate. If you kept up on the journals you would know that the target date for new Demigods is end of August / early September. But that is subject to change too. Life is like that.
Nice work.
Stardock is the North American publisher. That means both retail and digital distribution. It is also the worldwide digital distributor of Demigod. Stardock also paid for most of the development of Demigod along with putting its own developers in to provide the initial connection between players which is then handed off to Demigod once the initial connection is established. Originally, this connection code was licensed but it was not able to scale with lots of players so Stardock took
I can tell you that while Elemental will have good mutiplayer features, it is predominantly a single player game.
Also, isn't it true that Stardock took on the multi-player aspect of the game? GPG undertook development of the game-engine and all those goodies, while Stardock handled the online functionality? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I've heard from the grapevine. I'm just a little confused when people are saying, "Stardock got the short-end of the stick."
Stardock took over the part where people get into the lobby - the initial connection. Af
Could you guys fix the Sedna healing wind II/high priest bug while you're at it? It's literally a one character change in the LUA file
Could you describe this bug in more detail?
im obviously not making myself clear. i would have seen those posts where? i dont go to the forums. i dont go to the site. i wouldnt even know about it NOW if someone else hadnt linked here from somewhere else.
You could have read the user manual which states Stardock's fairly well known refund policy very clearly.
Frogboy, Are the new demigods female? Seeing that currently there's only 2 I think it would more than fair.
The beast is female I think. :)
That is because in pantheon games you're matched first with people who are geographically close to you. In custom games, it's random.
Sent to Brad. He said "Good advice!" and is interested in coming on the show.
the publishers are doing there job bbby keeping the game runing and if it is there motive to keep the community as happy as possible then they will do but if there motive is to earn ttones of money and fuck everone over then they will people dont realise too the publishers and developers this isn't for fun it is buisness they may have fun doing it but it doesn't mean it is for fun
With such an atittude you tend to get what you
This is true of every game - DG is not unique. Most games hire community managers who's whole job is to manage the communicty scene. It's analogous to a customer care center. People who are happy with a product never call a customer care center. All communication with the developers is through this person who can filter out all the vitriol.
Stardock has many game communities. Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilization
Or Atari depending on where you bought it.
We do read the forums and put together lists. But as others have pointed out, the attitude on the forum doesn't make one want to participate. As Brad mentioned, the last update was 12 days ago. There is another update in the works to fix stats and other issues. But if you actually want help either contact or you can put together specific constructive feedback with information like hardware/software configs and what exactly is ha
