Nope I have none of those sorts of programs running. Even though I know its not wise I'm not even running a firewall right now. If I load a different skin like magic the hat shows up so not sure whats wrong
Okay I downloaded the freebie halloween theme for mycolor but after I run the apply in My Colors I don'tt get the skeleton that they show sitting ontop of the start menu. Am I doing something wrong, needing to change an option in mycolor or was my download messed up?
Your doing better than I am, for me the background is just a bunch of multicolored pixels as if an easter bunny went crazy LOL. If you select the "use windowblinds skin" option I think you will see what Im getting. For now I'm making do by selecting "windows classic menu" for a skin but its irritating to know there is a actual skin its just not usable for gloss
Oh my that one does look good and blends nicely with the theme. Thanks for the sugestion
I don't know if its possible but rclick can't read the MyColor encrypted art files so even tho Gloss burgundy has a rclick skin its totally unuseable. Its very fustraiting to know there was effort made to create one but that its totally unusable as is. Is there a program that can open the skin so we can export it to a none encryted version Rclick can actually use?
Are they ever going to bother fixing this issue? Seems its been around for quite some time. It makes no sense for people to make a suite that includes a rclick skin, like Gloss Burgundy, if the darn program can't use it because the art is encoded. Is it that difficult for them to either add decode ability to RClick or an editor that can read the art files so we can export the skin ourselves for rclick?
I am curious as to what cursorfx theme ppl have found to be a good choice to use with the new My Color Gloss Burgundy theme?
Okay I've installed the new theme Gloss burgundy hich has a RClick theme. When I try to use it tho I get that lovely specaled screen. I tried to use the pclick skin editor but when I select the background image from the gloss folder it shows as spekaled as well. How can I create and import the Gloss item so it works right?
Well I already had OD installed so wondered if I needed to do the new od file or not is all
weird problem several items said there were updates and I choose to update them and it says they were downloaded but they don't seem to install themselves. Am I doing something wrong? Edit: Actually support sent me 2 links, one to impulse and the other for OD2008. I only installed impulse. do I also need to install the OD 2008 before things work right?
Is there a way to run Impulse minized to the system tray like we can with SDC? I cant seem to find it as an option
Sorry if this was covered and I missed the post. I have ODNT subscription and currently use SDC. How do I upgrade so I have access to all the Ultimate stuff that doesnt currently show in SDC?
How does one hide the tray icon for desktopx? I guess im blind because I cant find the option or was it removed in the newer versions?
Well from the google search I found gconvert at http://www.gdgsoft.com/gconvert/ and it works like a champ as a 15 day trial. Its also free if you are willing to give a trialpay offer a shot then you get a free registraition
what I want to do is create a dll file of an icon package so I can try and replace some of my r-click icons by opening a dll and selecting the icons I want. Is there an easy way to do this
so is there some way of using skinstudio or something to export to a rclick skin that will work?
Okay I have the Magic theme but cant figure out how to import it into Rclick so my rclick menu matches the theme. If I go into rightclicks menu editor and then select the skins tab I see an option "Use windowblinds skin" but that choice results in a multicolored mess so I seem stuck with using Dream Menu as my current setting. Am I doing something wrong or how do I import Magics wb skins settings?
With XPSP3 MS eliminated the option to display address bar from the taskbar but I noticed that it is a plugin option for Rclick but its too narrow how can I increase the width of the main Rclick menu?
ah thx, still an annoyance but at least now I know its not just me hehe
Okay, if I go to the skin browser in SDC and select say a WB theme and select download it gives me a message download failed but if I go to the wincustomize site and log in I can search for the same theme, select download and it downloads just fine. Is that more detailed? What am I doing wrong?
Any idea as to why Im haveing the problem stated in the title?
Kind of confused. I own CursorXP Plus but since, at least for now, am still on XPSP2 I can't see any reason for me to upgrade it to FX plus at this time. I already seem to have all the features listed in the FX plus version and would actually lose some features if go to plain cursorfx. Is there any reason at this time for XP os useres to upgrade from cursorxp plus to fx plus or am I better off just sticking with what I already have till I finally decide to upgrade to Vista?
I get icons in xps2 with no problem. How did you install the suite? I know if you use the Theme Manager app then it will give you all sorts of choices as far as wallpaper, icons etc. The only thing you cant do in XP is actually change the toolbar icons in IE7 but thats because of MS not Stardock
Well I do like thee theme but I have one issue with this skin, as well as a few others. Why can't the Suite makers include a wallpaper that DOESNT have the suite name plastered on it in huge txt. I'm the only one using my computer and I really don't need a constant reminder of the skins name. I mean if you just have to have the name fine why not do it in small txt over the task tray as an option and allow us the choice? Just a petty grumble I'm sure Jess
