You can disband other civs fleets. The stats page of the player loses the blue colour when you click on a tab,it goes mainly black but with the stat details still on it. Had a strange report about the drengin war going badly because they outmatch us in the economy and military. The report said they have 165 combined and we have 205 and that is chilling news to us

The alliance system makes for constant war.You get peace with a civ, only for him to declare war the next turn because your at war with his allies. It seems a bit daft, i would like to see an enforced peace treaty that last 20+ turns.Peace should mean peace.
The A.I for Civ4 has to figure out colony points and have workers build improvments.Civ4 also has naval invasions, ground invasions that require siege weapons, air war, etc. It also has various terrain for the a.i to consider. This makes warmaking a lot more complex for the A.I do do efficiently. Galciv2 just has planets with space around them.
The A..I needs to put transports in fleets for protection.
Keep getting a report saying the ship is going out of range, even when there is no ships around.
The A.I in CIV4 has a hell of a lot more to do, so it's not a fare comparison.
It's bad enough having that silly female GNN thing, let alone a Drengin with long hair and lipstick.
I swear this same person is starting similar topics on many strategy game forums. Keep the game masculine.
Doesn't really tell you much about the races really. Not in MOO3 type depth anyway.
I'd like an option to sentry fleets, it's dam annoying pressing the find button and keep scanning through various fleets that you have strategically placed on resources, etc. Oh and i think Galgiv2 is great fun already and destined to be the number1 4x game out there.. You aint gonno please everybody.
Got Civ4 played it for 2 nights, back to playing Galciv2 beta which is better game even in beta.
I was at war with the korx, but then out of the blue, all of the korx's planets became mine without any diplomatic message. The korx picture was still on the diplomacy screen which caused a crash.I then tested from the last autosave and this time all of the Korx planets became the altarians planets, i tried to look at the planet details menu from one of the new altarians world and it crashed.
In the journal there is a new relations system. Is it going to be onscreen like in CIV4,this would be very helpfull.
I reloaded the game from a save and the Terran homeworld has lost the capital icon and had a normal description.Clear enough?
A manual would be very helpfull.
I have no problems with space anomalies as such but come on SpaceShark lol, make space anomalies sound serious.
Surely balanced starting postions helps everybody including the A.I.I seem to recall AlphaCentuari having balanced starting positions as an option, i think Galciv should have the same.
Yes Galciv should do away with all the cheese as i know it puts gamers off.Claims of Galciv being childish have been branded about on popular forums many times.
This would make probes redundant. So no.
In the readme it says "The United Planets is not in yet"
But you don't really manage you just build one item and improve influence in the system.Needed.
In my 7 test games so far, it has the same result each time. One Empire just winning with ease due to becoming a culture flipping monster. Are you guys getting the same? I think the influence factor needs toning down a lot.
You have the icon for planet capital that suggests importance.I would like to see an icon for the manufacturing, economy, tech capitals as well.It would add nice roloeplaying to attack the important planets in the enemy empires.
Had a strange report of the likes "the only ones able to stop the arceans are the arceans" not exact wording but you get the idea.
It clearly says ownership on the map icons, not dominant cultural influence.Very confusing, the CIV4 method is better, when you overrun their border, the city becomes yours, ie keeping the ownership border relevant.
