You do NOT have to use Stardock Central to update, though we do encourage it. The standalone builds are available for registered users as always and the build on the older CM has been updated as well.

It's not blocking you. It doesn't have the brains to supply the components for any possible combination of expiration dates. We keep zip snapshots every month or so to handle this with all the components, but a backup of your components using the CM or SDC would have handled this.
40.8284% - Major Geek I'll bet I could have gotten bonus points identifying quotes for simpsons/movies/etc.
WHAT HOOPS? Don't go and throw a statement out like that without evidence. It's just like updating for any other WB build.
I believe I've got all the enhanced, ODNT, and Stardock Central installers properly updated now. Use the form at https://www.stardock.com/support to get the enhanced links and serials or your CM/SDC as appropriate. Customers who's ODNT subscriptions have expired, please contact [email protected] with your serial. They have a link that you can use with the CM to get 3.51. Any other specific questions on this, email [email protected] rather than support. They have enou

MadMichael, I'm unclear as to exactly what you're expecting to see as a "fix" for this. In every instance we've seen so far, it's either been a case of physically bad media or some combination of factors on the target machine that were interfering with the install. Things to try: copying the setup.exe off the CD to the hard drive. Rebooting and ensuring that as many running processes as possible are closed (use task manager on 2k/xp). Ensuring that your TEMP directories have
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's Smith in a Gollumn-like fashion (at Mt Doom) that winds up bringing about X. I mean, we already "lost" Trinity and Morpheus at one point or another (Morpheus' crisis of faith notwithstanding). Course, with him, he's like he is now in some part because of Neo.
I'm hopeful that we'll see a beta for 2k before the end of June. I'm not 100% sure at the moment if that's also going to support 9x initially, but it's coming.
I'm not certain the two are incompatible. Again, "why is the Matrix?" Why preserve humanity? Why "improve" the One?
OK. In this context then, the 72 hours comment is probably a reference to the length of time for the machines to destroy Zion. Rather than an oblique way of saying the last iteration of the Matrix only lasted 72 hours (which seemed a bit of a stretch). This is referenced subtly in the opening meeting with all the crews with the "If Niobe's right" comment.
At this point, I'm on board with the "modeling reactions" response. Can nobody answer my question about some "72 hours" comment in Enter the Matrix? Was that the iteration of that matrix? Or just a reinforcement of how long it took the machines to waste Zion? I refuse to buy the game, but I'll rent it if need be.
I hadn't considered that. A good point and likely more supportable with what we've seen.

This gets back to the question I asked the other day about some "72 hours" comment in Enter the Matrix. And why the previous iterations all look like Neo.
I disagree. I think it refers to the Smith's. Because at the end of the day Neo gets to exactly where he's supposed to be w/ref to the source.
Here's another one for discussion... right after that initial confrontation, we're first exposed to there being 2 Smith's. He has some comment about "that went as expected" (I assume in reference to the raid). His other line, about "it's happening exactly as before, well, not exactly" is more interesting. I think its safe to assume that there are at least 2 potential differences this time. Smith's "freedom" through his interaction with Neo in M1 and him being able to replicate c
There would be no rationale for the agents to have waited to conduct their raid. The meeting was well under way, in fact it was essentially over when they showed up. Neo's reaction was only with the arrival of Smith in the car. It was him at the door as well. No agent would have sent in the earpiece and not attacked. By the time Neo got upstairs, Smith was gone and the agents were arriving. He could well have "seen" then approaching the door through the matrix code when he g
Let's move the discussion back to the topic, shall we? So I was thinking about this earlier in the week and some elements of it just seemed to mesh in well. Granted, there are many sprinklings of literary and religious mythos in the films. Is the trilogy a modern-day Grail quest? I don't claim to be an expert on religion and my love of history doesn't really stretch back properly 2000 years. But as opposed to Indiana Jones looking for an actual cup of Christ, o

Everybody is important here. Except the trolls. And especially except the trolls who were pointedly warned by the site admins to stop trolling in a specific thread.
Normally, I would have waited for Karmagirl to take care of this, but I don't know when she'll be around over the weekend. Tell me, Mr. Williams, what good is a phone call if you can't speak?
He didn't sense the agents, imho. He sensed Smith.
I'm told there is something in the game along the following lines: a comment that the last iteration of the Matrix or Zion or something only lasted 72 hours? Anything on that? The Merovingian coming through (on some levels) on his "her time is up" bit works well. Esp. given her comments on his power. I've avoided looking, but is he in 3? Is the actress who plays the Oracle?
