In the very early AP betas, the first one I think, you couldn't submit to the 'verse.

Yup... Bit of a hole in the AP beta I think. But it's beta so... May have been due to the short lived suicidal. But that's just a total guess.
Fanamar... Drop by an see us.
Matt... This is the clearest explination of this game aspect I have read. Thanks. :)
So to be clear... The Balance of Power overwrites the following files that are shipped as part of the default GalCiv install: bonusevents.EVENT CoreEvents.EVENT Expansion01Events.EVENT With files that are basically empty. Backups of the above files from 1.2.086 can be found in the BoPbackups directory. Not that I have a problem with any of this, I just want to be sure I understand what is changing.
Zipped up and shipped off to Slothrop.I'm gratified that people still make use of my wee proggy
Sweeeeeet! Thanks much HFO. :) I have used the Writer a lot and found it very useful for integrating mods from different people in to a whole system. By that I mean find conflicting IDs and such. Any way thanks for allowing Slothrop to work on it. Now I can bug him for features... LOL LOL LOL
Who do we have to contact about taking over maintenance of the Galciv Writer and updating it for 1.20 and 1.49?
Phreakin brillant idea! :HOT: Seeing the mods folder would make it much easier to use. Hope he agrees. ;)
Thought I read 90 someplace. And Fanamar... drop by the CSF thread... eh? LOL
Jeffrey... Another thing to keep in mind is on maso is when things go bad they can go bad realy, really fast. You can go from cool to war in two turns. So you really need to keep an eye on relations. This is most evident as you in the middle 1/3 of the mil/pop/soc/tech power curve. The AI evaluates all of these so you must manage all them at the same time at a much faster pace than at crip... because after all managing these things is what the game is all about. ;) I play w
Marquesa... Did you got to wincustomize and change your email address in your user profile?
You should be able to set that up in AP using the editors. Hummm... If the devs added a 'radom' load of custom maps, you would be able to setup several maps and then play them.
Not a problem, Philippe. Happy to help. :)
Phillippe, It was a comment on the user interface. It means... It would be good to list all the buildings you want to build in the Mr.Kolaz queue even if you have not researched the technolgies to build them yet. This comment is not important to win the game. [Message Edited]
Actually... Any one know if it is bossible to see who and where each wonder is built?
OK... I'll bite... Got Milk? Ice cold preferably. :D
Hunter green. Deep, rich, green
Nope. Not yet. No date either.
Philippe, Sorry for the confusion... You are correct. Do not buy colony ships. It costs too much money.
Try this... On earth on the before you start you first turn; set spending to 100%, set Military to 100%, set taxes to 48-50%. Build colony ships on earth. This will give you 1 colony ship every 2-3 turns. Hunt for planets. After the first year or two, you can start spending on researh. Do not buy colony ships if you can build them. Sometimes it is ok but do not buy all the time. In the beginning only colonize yellow stars. Hope this helps. If any of our
Just an impression I think, at least so far I haven't notice any slow down in ship speed.
Beat me to it. :)
Don't disband using the button. Move the ship into orbit just like you were going to colonize a new planet. Pick the planet you want and the colonists will land on the planet and the ship will disappear.
Hum... Not sure. I use the same email for both sdc and ordering AP. Have you checked your profile at wincustomize? Is should tell you what email it thinks they have. If your not sure, email sales. They are very helpful. :)
They were having server problems last night... briefly so it seems check this thread. http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=149367 You might want to try again and see if it's been resolved.
