So to be clear... The Balance of Power overwrites the following files that are shipped as part of the default GalCiv install: bonusevents.EVENT CoreEvents.EVENT Expansion01Events.EVENT With files that are basically empty. Backups of the above files from 1.2.086 can be found in the BoPbackups directory. Not that I have a problem with any of this, I just want to be sure I understand what is changing.

Any way thanks for allowing Slothrop to work on it. Now I can bug him for features... LOL LOL LOL

The AI evaluates all of these so you must manage all them at the same time at a much faster pace than at crip... because after all managing these things is what the game is all about. ;) I play w

Phillippe, It was a comment on the user interface. It means... It would be good to list all the buildings you want to build in the Mr.Kolaz queue even if you have not researched the technolgies to build them yet. This comment is not important to win the game. [Message Edited]

Try this... On earth on the before you start you first turn; set spending to 100%, set Military to 100%, set taxes to 48-50%. Build colony ships on earth. This will give you 1 colony ship every 2-3 turns. Hunt for planets. After the first year or two, you can start spending on researh. Do not buy colony ships if you can build them. Sometimes it is ok but do not buy all the time. In the beginning only colonize yellow stars. Hope this helps. If any of our

Don't disband using the button. Move the ship into orbit just like you were going to colonize a new planet. Pick the planet you want and the colonists will land on the planet and the ship will disappear.
