--- I came 9th out of 150 odd entrants for the evening and put some points against my name on the leaderboard, which was way beyond my expectations. I am aware there might have been a bit of beginners luck involved, which I was readily admitting to my friends who’d all been knocked out fairly early. I bet the fans at Sundance were so disappointed when they decided NOT to show it there. I for one can't wait to see it. btw ... I'm always surprised when someone tells me they either haven't seen "Clerks" or worse didn't like it.

I was listening to sports radio and they mentioned a high school player, who is going to Duke, scored 52 points in a 83-79 loss. With his time down 71-58 with 1:24 left in the game he scored 21 points in the next 75 seconds before fouling out. Shoeless Joe Jackson and Pete Rose should both be in the Hall of Fame. Just because Major League Baseball banned them doesn't mean that Cooperstown has to too. I liked the movie, but I think it was more because of where I saw it. It's not a great movie by any means, but seeing the people react to the movie made it more enjoyable. My favorite parts were when the crowd cheered Don Haskins' cameo role and when they showed what became of the players on the team at the end.
