DesktopX has an option to hide the desktop. Failing that use TweakUI ( search Microsoft's website for PowerToys ) to remove it from the desktop.

you can make it work go to weather.com then go to the city search . Search for your city. open the weather page for your city . Look at the URL . get the code from the URL (a letter-number combination starting with CA, for example CAXX0297 ) then enter that code in the widget. Voila.

well on my XP Pro box I just installed it once then opened it on each user account and then set the skin for each. Works just nicely. DesktopX did the same. Iconpackager will apply the same icons across all users. I had seperate ObjectDock installs ( not sure about plus since my fiance's dock is simple she still uses the freeware version ) CursorXP you can apply different themes if you use the mouse control panel. Works fine.

Hi. I have a question about using Object Desktop on a second PC. I am purchasing a laptop and want to put some of my OD apps on it. What is the legal/copywright policy regarding using a single OD sub on multiple owned by me PCs ? And do they extend to my other applications ( CursorXP and OD Plus ) ?

I don't understand this. It's not like the iPod is the 1st ever hard drive based mp3 player. I have a 6GB Nomad that predates the iPod by some time. IBM wouldn't be making an 'iPod' They would have been be entering the market.
