Hey everyone, I hate to be one of those people that complains, but for the past month (since Nov 24th), there as been no new IconPackager skins/themes. Is there a strike I am not aware of? I enjoy installing new themes on my Vista 64 but haven't been as of late. I would like to know where my money goes to pay for OD. If there is no new skins, then someone is getting rich :(

I agree with Aquamonkey, it is a bit of a kick in the teeth for us Ultimate users. I remember when DeskScapes 1.0 came out and I was unable to use it on my version of Vista Home Premium. So, I dished out a few hundred bucks on the Vista Ultimate edition so I could run DeskScapes. I was forced to buy a more expensive operating system so I could get the extra benefits that other operating systems did not have. Now less than a year later, I find out that my "Ultimate" edition is going to be the sa

I have SoundPackager as part of my OD. I gave it a try, with my Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS. It works alright, but there is one major problem with it. It pretty much sucks. Most of those sounds are pretty annoying. I ended up muting my speakers, then uninstalled the program. If you don't mind annoying sounds when you work on your PC, then this program is for you. I couldn't imagine spending $20 for this. People that do that, need their little head examined. I suggest you try it out before p

I agree, people are actually getting sick when it comes to technology and new gadgets. People will do anything for them. From camping out in a Best Buy parking lot for a week, to spending $1000's of dollars for it. I heard one guy even had surgery on his hands in order to be able to use the iPhone, since his hands were originally too big! Now this! People have always been nuts when it comes to new things on the market. I remember when Cabbage Patch dolls were a big item and people went nuts for

That's the problem with people, they can't take criticism. They get offended if you speak your mind and then they call you names. Americans are probably the worst for not being able to take any criticism. It's too bad that people like that have chased you off of these forums. Best of luck to you.

I had a GeForce 6600 and even after installing the new Vista drivers, I was still unable to play certain games, like Tiger Woods 2007. I ended up buying an ATI card which works wonders with Vista. I don't think I would go back to Nvidia

I switched over completely a month ago or so and I love Vista. It boots up extremely fast compared to XP which was starting to take forever to boot up. I haven't had any problems with it so far, but I did have to upgrade my video card in order for some games to work. I still have XP Media edition on my 2nd HD, but never use it anymore. After using Vista, I would never go back to XP.

Microsoft seems to be giving special treatment to Vista Ultimate Edition users and couldn't care less about the home users. I use Vista Home Premium and I don't get any special wallpaper or animated desktop back grounds. Why can't they give other users of Vista some extras too?

Never heard of anything so dumb in my life! Ya it's tough installing a patch on my computer. Pressing a button is complicated. Thank Christ that MS has given us all a break for 1 month. Now I can go on holidays

I knew it was going to come to this! Just a matter of time! I pay money for OD, which is too high to begin with and I get average to below average skins to choose from. Now for the good skins, I am suppose to dish out more money??? Now that is sick and sad, both rolled into one! Ever since WB 5 came out, the skin quality has decreased substantially. Now we have to pay for the good skins. This is bullshit, it really is.

So now my brand new Asus MB is obsolete now. When will it end? Why would a PCI express sound card be better than a regular PCI card? They will sound exactly the same!! Anything to make people run out and buy more useless crap for their computer I guess.

I have been using a Benq lightscribe burner since they came on the market. I use to use the lightscribe technology alot when I first bought it, but now I don't bother, especially when the lightscribe media is a little more than normal media. At the time, the media was also a lot harder to come by. I also noticed a HUGE difference in quality between the DVD's and the CD's when I have used the lightscribe to label it. On the CD's the text and photo i

I have noticed that consumers that sell computers are having a hay day with this Vista program. They are practically telling the people that the computers that they have now will not work with the new Vista and that they have to go out and buy "Vista Ready" computers. What a joke. I built mine last summer and tried the Vista RTM out and it works like a charm. They are putting too much scare into this, saying that computers will not handle this Vist
