Nah, the US isn't gonna do anything to Syria. Too expensive, if nothing else. What really, really burns my posterior is Network Solutions. If you get a domain from the jerks they require it to be accessable to the public (in an easily spider-able form), i have no idea why. I get at least 50 spam emails a day from that account. IF someone legitimately wanted to contact me about the domain, the chances are pretty slim that I would get the email. Kind of defeats the purpose.

The comments are out of line on Goodmorphings link. I'm not big on 'wrath-of-God' type stuff, but saito80 should be banned for what he said (in spanish): "I hope that your friends die in combat or are taken like prisoners death to all the North Americans around the world" I dunno why Oblivicon doesn't just delete it and remove the venue for those tactless enough to discuss it on someone's comments. The anti-spam laws aren't really gonna help much. Most spammers are functioning illegally already, offering bogus items, untargeted pr0n, or pharmecuticals. The rest will just move their mail server to a country that doesn't have any spam laws and launder their money in. yup, someone used a spider/search engine-type script to crawl the database. Not good. Not a lot that WC could do about it, though. The only suggestion I would have is to use the name in the link to the user profile, and not an easily generatable number. Since the accounts here are email based, and you can change your name, I dunno if you could do anything better than what they have. Even then, they could still track ya down by first crawling through the the skin database to get the

'Fair use" is: referring to or sampling a portion of a work for a journalistic, educational, or satirical piece. "Incidental Inclusion" is also considered fair use, so news anchors who are reporting live won't be sued when a pepsi truck rolls past. That is the community reasoning behind screenshots at present, i think. The works posted above here wouldn't fall under any description of 'fair use', imho. This is just one work being derived from another.

"registered mail" ), and that they had the means to get their hands on it. By the time you get them in court, they know when you are claiming to have made it, and they can just claim to have made it before you. Did the person you got them from take the images himself? The problem is, there are a lot of sites that post what they *think* are public domain images just because they found them posted publically. Not the same thing. You don't know the number of sites that steal their images and then say "I found these on the internet, use them however you want".
