The alpha transparency value is controlled by several variables depending on what state the userlist is in (mouseover, hilighted, pressed, etc). You may have to go into the UIFILE.txt file in your skin's directory and edit it there. Search for "alpha:" in this file and try increasing some of the values (255 is maximum visibility).

No, that's right - it should create small thumbnails. It's just not working. You can try clicking the fix thumbnails button. Also I think PNG doesn't work so well - JPG is best.

If it opens up, it's probably in zip format and not wba. Save it to disk, rename it to a .wba file and then double-click and it should install fine. Either that or just save it and then click Add in disp properties and navigate to it.

I have a Wacom Graphire. I tried it when I heard my friend had one - I'd always liked the look of them - and after about a day or so I just had to get my own. It was just that cool. I ended up writing my own VB software to use it. (which eventually paid for the tablet several times over, but that's another story ) Using it graphicially, it's not great for skinning. And it won't help you magic

You need LogonStudio instaled - www.logonstudio.com. You need to be running Windows XP, and not be on a domain. After installing LogonStudio double-click a .logonxp file, select it in the list at the left and click apply.

Sharing of copyrighted files when not authorised to do so is illegal. It always has been - that's what "copyright" means, the right to control copies. The bad thing about this is that the companies involved will be able to hack your computer to stop it, which is going quite a bit too far.

JPG is still useful over PNG in some situations, and therefore this will still be a loss. But as has been said, it won't affect those in the software arena as seriously as those working with hardware. Hopefully the new JPG2K will not have any problems of this sort.

chickenbow: OK, here's how to do it (assuming you mean inbuilt per-pixel transparency). Create a new image the same size as the one you're working on. Make it greyscale. Then set the bits of the image that you want to be opaque to white, and the bits you don't to black, and the bits you want translucent in-between. Then select your original image and go to Masks/New/From Image..., select your mask image, and select Source Luminance. You should see the image become transparent in the areas you sp

Probably WB 3.4 installed some of the files in the same place as the WB 3.3 files, and when you deleted 3.3 it wiped them too. Just uninstall any copies of WB you have, reboot, and install 3.4 and it should be OK. No, unfortunately not. Try modifying the uifile.txt directly. I ended up having to do that - the GUI editor just doesn't have the flexibility I needed. Of course, to do that you need to learn the language - but it's not too hard.
