This is a painting I already did (and some other cropped ones). Yeah, those are light bulbs. Kind of silly, I guess. I'll just do something like this on all my stuff. I'll just stick with acrylics, don't want to make a big deal out of it.

Actually Fourth, I'll be using acrylic paint. I'd use oils, but they don't stick well to the computer. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I've been doing strange landscapes on canvas lately, so I think I'll stick with that. Think Kol's strange world Wallpapers with paint, and different colors. (No, I didn't get my idea from him) I hate keeping things looking 'new.' My mp3 player is scratched and dented in a place, and I like it like that

If I knew you could just steal other people's work, I wouldn't have spent so much time on working my site. Speaking of which, I'm making a new layout. Think Stardock will mind if I 'borrow' the Wincustomize design?

Why? Well, two reasons. One is because my computer is boring gray now. Two...why not? I'm also going to do my speakers and stereo/cd/radio dealy I have. I guess I'll do my mouse...hmmm what else. That's about everything I own. Hurrah!

I started to paint some stuff on my laptop, and was thinking of just painting the entire thing. So, you think acrylic paint would hurt my computer? I'm pretty careful of not getting it in any cracks or inside anywhere. Maybe I'll take a picture when I'm done.

These kind of sites are getting old. Why have a website just for the sake of having a website. Have some kind of content on it...anything. These sites are the Paris Hiltons of the internet-- popular for nothing more than being popular.

Yeah, I don't like seeing a huge list of screen shots there. If screen shots are going to be included in the 'Just In' area, there should only be a maximum of 3 or 4. Let the rest go to actual skins and whatnot.

I looked through the Misc. Icons, and nobody did one for Spybot S&D that I saw. The icon that comes with it isn't the greatest. Someone should give it a shot.

Now that I look at it, you have a lot of other people's work on your site. I hope you do have permission. I don't really see the point of developing a website only to use other peoples work.

This is just a way for Microsoft to sell Vista. They seem to do things kind of half-assed just to say it's a 'new feature' so they can move merch. I can't blame them for this, but I don't think Microsoft Gadgets will be as good as other widget software out there. People who truly want to change the look of their OS use WindowBlinds rather than the Blue, Olive or Silver Luna. And people who want great widgets/gadgets use DX, Yahoo Widgets, Kapsules, and

It's unbelievable that this stuff still goes around. What kind of moron would still download something from an unknown sender, or believe those eBay phishing scams. Normally, I would say if you get scammed by these types of things, you deserve it, but it ends up affecting everyone else on the net. No virus or worm would go around so easily if people used common sense and had updated security software.

I think it's Adocromedia. Or Macrodobe. The best way to figure out what to do is to just do it. I've found that reading the books is tedious and I get a lot more out of figuring out things myself. If you're still lost, contact your host, or see if they have an FAQ. Usually your host will have some basics of starting out on their site.

You have to put a file called index.htm or index.html in the root directory for the site to load. Whatever you want the homepage to be, rename it as index.htm. I'd read some tutorials on the web or on Dreamweaver to figure out how to get things going.

Yikes, I'd be wary of installing IE7 beta. I'd bet it's buggy as hell. I hope that in Vista it won't be necessary to have IE installed. Don't like having stuff installed that I almost never use. Wouldn't count on it though.
