Why can't people just concern themselves with their own work and not worry about somebody else's ratings or download count is what I'm saying. I'm the first one to call out somebody if I see a rip or something without obvious permission, but if people are playing by the rules, why worry about a special gallery for this or that? It's more work for WC and the mods. If it passes moderation, it's done. If you download it and it screws up your computer, say something, but other th

Droplet was done on an older version of Rainlendar...over a year ago..and I haven't touched a newer version or made any since...so that may very well be the problem. I know it worked then, but more than likely the code has changed a lot since I made it. I just mentioned it for you to try, hoping it would still work. Guess if I start skinning Rainys again...I better update.

I haven't made any like these...but they are edited from a normal Logon Studio logon, not a splash logon. The userpic comes with the logon with most of them....to change to your own, you have to edit the userpic bmp...113 or 119....or both, not sure...with your own userpic in Photoshop. And they aren't resolution independent. They only work for the res they were made for or smaller. Anybody really interested in creating that type of logon should probably ask Quentin or Piespies.

WOM, you're pretty much made my point. Everything is going to get rated about the same..4-6, unless there is something that really stands out. Whether it's unfinished or pretty good, you don't have time to get into all of that. If people are worried about the ratings, it shouldn't be the initial rating by the mod but the subsequent ratings. If it's good, it will go up...if not down. And not necessarily on that particular skin. If it's good, people will watch you or keep an eye out

The same thing happens in the logons and probably most of the other libraries. You know the DX library better, I know the Logon library a LOT better. It's just going to be that way. A logon that only works with one resolution, or none, with default buttons and a wallpaper that looks so pixelated you could use the grain to start a beach with will get the same or close to the same ratings as others with much more work. Just create work that you are proud of, post it, and leave

Right now, there is no way to take a screenshot of them. Hopefully, in a future build of LogonStudio Vista, they will include that feature. The PrintScreen key doesn't work in Vista for logons as it does in XP as you've found out.

I've never had a problem with CS2 on Vista, but I don't have WB installed yet on Vista either. Could PS and WB compatibiliy be the problem? I know I had problems with the CS3 beta and Windowblinds on XP...windows wouldn't minimize or close, but I haven't upgraded to the CS3 release to know if there's still a problem.

Has anybody found the uninstall info for JRCCivic98? No matter how he got here, I'd sure like to remove him. Go work at a fast food restaurant. You'll have more than enough to keep you busy telling them how it should be done....for a day or 2 before they get sick of you and install a foot up your ass as they remove you out the door....

Logon Studio has never been able to create the center panel or "splash" type of logon. They are created with a totally different set of files, creating the logon graphics in Photoshop or something similar, and change fonts, font colors, and positioning of the logon elements in the uifile and theme.ini. They can't be created or edited in Logon Studio. LS is only used to apply them.
