This problem has come up in the past with people that have either had a corrupted file (which the fix I've recommended already resolves) or have customized their Windows install. By removing certain components, your system will run faster, but it may lose functionality for any programs that require those certain components. -Mike [Stardock Support]

What videocard (including driver version) are you running? Also, what other programs do you have running? Run Silent Runners and post a link to the output here, if possible. -Mike [Stardock Support]

WB 4.95[b].007 was just released. Try that one out and see if you still experience the problem. Either your links don't like me, or I don't like your links (they're not working) If all else fails, you could add iexplore.exe to the "Per Application" list and exclude it from skinning. Let me know the results. If you can get the screenshots working, I will forward them to the development t

Thanks for the detailed report! I've notified the development team of this thread. p.s. This is probably more for Neil (WB developer) than anything else. As hard as it is to believe such a developer can be human, it's true -M

If explorer is crashing on your system, try adding explorer.exe to the "Per application" list and exclude it from being skinned...see if this resolves the problem. Let us know the result. Itheone: Since you've removed our software, this is obviously not the cause of your issue. The Windows XP operating system itself is not 100% stable when connected to the internet as a result of malicious software. I would be interested to know more about the software
