Object Desktop is a collection of programs, not one single program. Are you referring to Windowblinds? If so, which version of Windowblinds? Which version of Windows are you running (including service packs). -Mike [Stardock Support]

Taken from the readme.txt located within the directory accompanying Windowblinds 5 Beta: "Wbconfig will prompt if wblind.dll is missing. Please remove the files in the WindowBlinds dir (can leave the subdirs), rename any locked ones, reboot, remove the leftovers, reinstall, and reboot to enable WB5." This should resolve your issue. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Is anything happening consistently? For example, are you able to run Windowblinds 5 Beta once windows starts without having problems until loading a program? What is the version number of the Windowblinds 5 Beta on your system? -Mike [Stardock Support]
It's not WB5 yet, it's still WB5 Beta. I believe it is still having trouble skinning some Macromedia apps. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Have you used the "Install skin from disk" option? Which version of Windowblinds and which version of Windows (including service packs) are you running? -Mike [Stardock Support]
Unfortunately, a lot of email is eaten by our spam filters. Have you tried sending the email through another email client? It sounds like LabVIEW might be doing something odd when you're trying to run it. Have you seen this issue with any other programs? -Mike [Stardock Support]
I've submitted this to the development team as a requested feature. There are two fixes I know of: the WindowFX fix, and if you're using Windowblinds you can adjust the Screen Edge Clip-Bottom setting in Skinstudio. OD+ should just work as "advertised" to begin with richlivi: Please
If you are otherwise unable to load a windowblinds skin, you can also open up SkinStudio and apply the skin from there. That seems to work every time (there is unfortunately no preview, however). starkers: I believe this is an issue with certain skins as most seem to be able to load without a problem. Could you paste the information from the "Troubleshooting" section from within the Windowblinds Configuration? Also, Which version of Windowb
It showed an activation error over here. Try activating it again, I've fixed the error. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Unfortunately the Windowblinds 5 Beta is currently only supported by WindowsXP. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Kemas: The WB icon no longer loads in the system tray. I've checked your account information. You seem to have created your Stardock.net account under one email address and made your purchase under another. These actually need to be under the same email address for activation to succeed. >>Please send an email to [email protected] referencing this thread by including the url (please also include your Object Desktop serial number for ver
Beldroan: You are correct, a 64-bit processor does not imply a 64-bit OS. The OS version makes all the difference. For this process, you might need your Windows XP disk handy: -Go to Start->Run -Type in "sfc /scannow" and press enter This utility will verify the integrity of all of your Windows files and will overwrite any that may be corrupt or otherwise incorrect. Let me know if this fixes your issue.
happyboi: In using the following steps, I've had success with many skins (except "Industrial Ecstasy") Loading Azenis -From Link ... -Right-click on the link labeled "download" and select "Save target as..." -Save into the directory: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Windowblinds\Azenis.wba" -Open up Windowblinds Configuration wi
Try reinstalling the program from Stardock Central. Everything is updated now. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Have you tried enabling the "Never use per pixel borders on a skin" option found under the "Troubleshooting" section of the Windowblinds Configuration window? It might be possible that your videocard is reporting having Per Pixel ability when, in fact, it does not support it. Let me know if this resolves the problem. -Mike [Stardock Support]
The only difference between 4.90f and 4.90d are file dates. There must be an intermittent problem if this seemed to resolve your issue. I would suggest uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, and rebooting. If this does not resolve your issue, could you post a screenshot on a response of your Start Panel illustrating the font problem? -Mike [Stardock Support]

Thank you, Sir Bichur. dtdave: If you choose "Normal Window Z-Ordering" or "Always on Bottom" the "Use Mouse Activation" option will become available. With this feature, you can have the dock activate (come to the front) just by hovering your mouse over it. The slider will let you choose how long the mouse must hover over the Dock before it is brought forward. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Samurize has a DesktopX widget that is used for development. We do host their site, but that's about as deep as our relationship goes -Mike [Stardock Support]
Unfortunately there are currently no plugins for RightClick at this time. -Mike [Stardock Support]
The z-ordering is for specifying how the window will act when others are activated. An "Always on top" window will always remain completely visible unless another "Always on top" window is activated and partially covers it. Similarly, a window with the "Normal Level" will always remain below "Always on top" windows whether active or not, and always above "Desktop Level" windows. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgCol
There is unfortunately no way to achieve this with the current software. This is more appropriately a "wishlist" item. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Does this problem happen consistently? I've not heard of this issue yet, but I'm running a 6800gt at home. I'll check it out and see if I experience the same issue. It looks like you're running programs off multiple partitions...this might cause additional problems. By the way, thank you for including your startup registry keys, this is very helpful. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Fire up the Windowblinds Configuration window and check out the "User Overrides" section. What options are selected under "Font overrides"? Also, which version of Windows are you running (including service packs)? -Mike [Stardock Support]
Although we're able to contact developers regarding software issues, we try to reserve our contact with them to bugs in the software. Features and other requests can be submitted on the wishlist forums. When you create an object in DesktopX, you have multiple templates to choose from. One such template is a taskbar; it gives you a few options to select to modify your object, but unfortunately not the features you requested. You should be abl
