This will be available again shortly. For the time being, if you enable "Show pre-release versions" from within the Impulse menu (click the blue button at the top left), you should be able to grab this beta version. See Also: https://forums.wincustomize.com/370632/get;2462961 Mike

Do you have any security applications running? This type of error is most often caused by a security application interfering with the downloaded file. If a single bit is off, it will fail the md5 check (to ensure the file is intact). Mike
I guess skinning was much easier back then.... Not really. The 'tools' were more primitive. Coding was often done in Notepad...and much was trial and error in the early days...
Absolutely! As times and technologies change, so do the standards. Look at how games have progressed over the years, for example. Sure, games were "simple" years ago, but the tools to make them were primitive , as well. As a result
This is how far we've come: From this: to this: [e digicons][/e] Mike
There is of course, the ability to connect via ad hoc (a node-to-node network), but that would not necessarily apply in this situation. I would agree that if you plug it in and it doesn't light up (or prompt you to install drivers) the device is defective. Mike
To be more specific, make sure you're logging into Impulse with the nickname, RobertMartin99 , not themartinclan , as the latter has no product registrations associated with it. Mike
What applications did you have running at the time? Does this problem persist? Are you using 32 or 64-bit? Mike
Is there a working version of DesktopX 4 included? I'm still running 3.5 because 4.0 don't work. Actually, 3.5 don't work correctly on 7. So I hope 4.0 is fixed now.
Still in the works, as far as I am aware.. I'm hanging in there, too; DX is a lot of fun. Mike
For me one of the most impressive features is the speed with which WindowBlinds 7 changes skins. Awesome
Ditto.. [e digicons]:smitten:[/e] Mike
Oops, I'll pass this along. Thanks for the heads up :) Mike
I've deactivated your previous (expired) registrations of Object Desktop, so the only remaining one is what expires in 2011. Does this help your problem? Do you have any Object Desktop applications not installed that are successfully showing up as available? Mike
At the moment, we're still working on bringing Win7 support to everything. Neither BootSkin nor SoundPackager are officially Win7 compatible, though I am able to use SoundPackager ok here on my Win7 x64 system. Do you have any security applications installed? Mike
This has been requested a number of times, actually. There are unfortunately no plans at the moment to implement this feature, but that may change at some point in the future possibly. Mike
I've sunk way too many hours into Sins. Easily one of my favorite RTS titles. [e digicons][/e] Mike
Banned for looking into the future... no peeking!!!
Quoting Frogboy, reply 2RightClick is going to get a rewrite. That is very good news.
Long-live RC! :) Mike
also which WB skin do you have applied? Mike
Glad to hear it helped... it's come in handy more than once around here, I'll tell ya [e digicons][/e] Perhaps its advertising is too obscure... I'd think there would have been a bit more feedback in Frogboy's post: https://forums.wincustomize.com/?aid=358061 Mike
Would you be able to post a screenshot of the problem? Also, are you using any other customization software (even WindowBlinds?) Mike

It's great to hear things have improved for you and good to see you back! Welcome back [e digicons][/e] Mike
Which specific version of IconPackager do you have installed? If you hover over the app name within Impulse (on the status bar at the bottom) it will give you the full version number. Had you tried applying the Windows default icon pack to see if that helped things at all? Is this Win7 32-bit or 64-bit? Mike
PurrBall: I cannot download WB6 (or anything else) through Stardock Central. I get an error message that (this is a paraphrase) that Stardock is no longer using the Stardock Central platform and downloads/updates are exclusively through Impuse now.
This is correct... SDC's download functionality has been permanently disabled. It exists at this point only as a tool for restoring .sdc archives. If anyone absolutely must use WB6, you can email

Unfortunately we do not offer Object Desktop Ultimate on disk to order, but what you could do is download the software you're looking to use from http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com and then just burn that to a dvd :) Mike
