Would you be able to upload it somewhere and share the URL here so it could be checked out? Mike
1 second after i have posted I found '
That happens all too often... (I speak from experience) I agree it would probably help if this (and other) option(s) stood out a little more. I will recommend that to the Fences developers. Mike
Lordofthellamas : If you haven't reached a resolution already, I would suggest contacting support via email at Mike
or for something more direct, http://impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Mike
Bolshak: have you tried clicking the blue menu button on the top left from within Impulse, going to Preferences, then the Folders section. From there, enable the option "Prompt for install directory" and change the archive and temporary file location to a drive you know has enough space. Mike
Also, what kind of dream(s) are you running? Keep in mind using a video dream (that has to decode on the fly) will sometimes utilize more CPU if your videocard is incapable of handling the processing itself. Mike
Would you be able to possibly post a screenshot of the problem? (you can use an imagehosting site to get URL and then use the insert/edit image button here). Have you tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling to see if that helped? Which OS are you running this on? Mike
One question: I do not have pre-ordered the beta yet. If I do it now, I'll have access to the beta on Monday?
You will, indeed. Mike
Note: While this will work for Stardock published/developed games/apps, this will not work for third party published/developed games/apps. Mike
Wizard1956 : What if you uninstalled DeskScapes and then reinstalled from scratch? This would have a different approach because in incremental versions of a given app/game, only the files that changed are downloaded. It's more likely for a full redownload to go successfully. Mike
But Office XP will work on Windows 7, you shouldn't be punished for upgrading your operating system.
No one is being punished for keeping an older app on an older OS, rather rewarded for upgrading to a newer version of the app for use on the newer OS. If all the newer major versions of Object Desktop applications offered were compatibility with the newer OS, Stardock would not be in business long.
new Object Desktop package. BTW you have to buy the Ul
We've had a feature request submitted that allows you to change the ordering of rules. With such a feature you should be allowed to drag your exe file into another fence, but at the moment, you unfortunately cannot. The enhancement software is available under "My Software", whereas games are available under "My Games." Is there anything in particular you're not seeing? To see Fences Pro, you will need to enable "Show Pre-release versions" from the blue menu in the top left of
Woah, you scared me for a second there that maybe I took a screenshot of an unreleased build! :P Mike
It may be possible the plugins these clocks are using are not 64-bit compatible. I would suggest dropping a note with about this. Please also reference this thread. Mike
Could you post a screenshot of this issue? Mike
http://www.charlespetzold.com/dotnet/ - .Net Zero by Charles Petzold
Can't go wrong with Petzold :) This url comes in handy for certain C# coding: http://pinvoke.net/ I just want to mention, writing C# apps in visual studio is really nice :) Mike
Actually none of our software supports Windows XP x64. I would suggest updating to Vista x64 or even better, Win7 x64. Mike
Are you not getting any beeping at all from the onboard speaker? It should have a "no video" beep code. I am inclined to think there might be some kind of power issue and/or an issue with the mb. If you have everything plugged in and connected properly, there's really no reason why it shouldn't work. I have had a similar problem when I attempted using one of those crappy off-brand PSUs some years ago. Threw in another one, and it was fine. Mike
I don't believe MyColors will apply wallpapers on Win7 Starter Edition because the ability to change the wallpaper has been deliberately removed by Microsoft in order to make this version more affordable. If you are able to change the wallpapers using MyColors, more power to you, but to my knowledge, this will not work. Mike
To set up running tasks: Task grouping is when it has a number at the bottom left of an icon on the dock and indicates there is more than one instance of that task open. This feature does not give you additional control over sorting out an arbitrary number of instances of a task... they are all just filed under the same icon. To give a folder shortcut

Although Zubaz's suggestion regarding Impulse Anywhere is your best bet, have you tried right clicking on an app within Impulse and choosing download and archive to see if that was able to go through successfully? Regarding your lack of internet, would you be even unable to use something like a MiFi for internet? http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobilebroadband/?page=products_mifi It's certainly not stellar speed, but it provides internet connectivity, which can sometimes be
Although we do already have plans for our next micro-expansion, Diplomacy, I think many people would agree with you :) Once Diplomacy is released, who knows what the future holds... Mike
That's amazing even such a system would be crippled under that load. I've done some massive fleet experiments in the past, but nowhere near 1048 :P Mike
This tab will only show up for video and hybrid dreams. These video rendering style settings will only show up for video dreams. Mike
