Nice upgrade, indeed! Thanks for the post, Philly. It's a real sign of maturity and responsibility to give a public apology like that. Don't let it get to you though, everyone makes mistakes! :) Mike

ObjectBar unfortunately isn't compatible with Win7. While may features may work, it's very possible some of the more obscure ones may not, so functionality may very well be spotty. Mike
I would suggest posting a request on the DA site on the theme's page making a request to the author of that theme. Mike
Glad to hear the issue hasn't returned since you've improved your OS :) If it does, however, be sure to let us know. Mike
You will need to use Tweak7 on Windows 7. I am looking into our current policies, however, regarding owners of TweakVista who are interested in Tweak7. More to come. Mike
You will embrace Impulse, or else! [e digicons];P[/e] Mike
You don't need to be religious to appreciate the message that carries. Thanks for sharing, Philly :) Mike
Novel idea, for sure! However, it's unfortunate scanners don't operate faster, otherwise it might even be feasible. Mike
oleme: You may download Impulse from here: http://impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe You can use Impulse to grab the latest version of WindowBlinds. If you still have a problem at that point, please post the updated sys info. Mike
No "and then!"
Gaijin01: I noticed your registrations and your Stardock.net account were under two different accounts. I've merged these together and had your account information emailed to you. Does this help things out any? Mike
Well, there are two icons, do I lost anything by starting Entrenchment instead of vanilla Sins of a Solar Empire? I guess I'm used to one exe for other games and their expansions...

No, you don't lose a thing. Entrenchment just adds onto the vanilla game.
Yep, you will find we do all our titles the same way -- each new expansion builds onto what its predecessor had to offer, so you only have delicious features to gain :) Mike
Quoting joasoze, reply 5just a thought! And dont focus on me calling it karma. I couldt think of a better name. Maybe "Mana" or "Essence". That would be a good way to balance the spell creation system. Have it cost Essence to create spells. The stronger the spell, the more effects or attributes you add to the spell, the more Essence it costs.
That's what i was thinking...a similar approach to the spell-creation syste
CarGuy1: Be sure to take a look at some of the other Sysinternals apps, too. I've got them on every one of my computers -- they are just too useful. Tcpview is another great one, as is psexec :) Mike
heavenlysynn: May I invite over you for a swim in the stardock pond? Mike
It's sounds like this mod just needs updating for compatibility with the latest build of Entrenchment. I would suggest contacting the mod's author. Mike
Good Idea: Passing on having a wife.
Quoting morpheas768, reply 97What about Thief? (i havent played it so i am just asking) It's status as an RPG is debatable, in my opinion, though certainly a solid game overall.
I second that -- it's not so much an RPG as it is just a very strategic FPS; excellent game, nonetheless. Ultima Underworld Mike
That seems like a valid request. You're referring to having a rule able to be specified in regards to an absolute value of time, rather than relative? Mike
My guess on what you've experienced would be purely a hardware problem. From the sounds of how the laptop was heating to extreme temperatures at the point of where the video card was located is an indicator to me that it's possible the gpu fan might've failed and therefore lost a preventive measure to becoming overheated and damaging hardware. Another good indicator that something is failing hardware-wise is when you reformat and install Windows and the system starts slowing down agai

If you're still having a problem with this, please email Mike
No, because it actually gives me a break from the computer. Don't you hate it when DST is implemented?
I've looked around, but am unfortunately not able to find that particular build available. Hang in there and a future build should hopefully have see functionality again :) SDC is strictly limited to restoring archives, so the archiving feature will unfortunately not work. You may still be able to relocate your install manually, however. Mike
I would suggest submitting an email to Mike
