To answer your question though, yes, you cannot use TweakVista on Win7. You will need to use Tweak7. Mike
Phew, beat the deadline by 20 days, lucky me...
That was pretty close! Hope you enjoy it :) Mike
Although I have been unable to test this to be sure (as I don't have a copy of this OS on hand), I would not assume MyColors would allow you to bypass the OS limitation and even if it did, Microsoft might not be cool with that. Mike
Ausvet: Yep, one of my favorite skinners :) Mike
The themes folder for CursorFX on XP is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes. I would also suggest renaming that if possible (as Philly suggested) and see if that helps. Mike
Jeff: If you could also reference this thread when you email that would be great :) Mike
Problem is, there ain't enough drinking!
The problem with hiding system folders is some programs, like Sins of a Solar Empire for example, stores items you need to access in those folders. For that game, if you hide folders, you cant access mods or user created maps
Games really should be saving user prefs/mods into the docs folder... right? [e digicons]:|[/e] You shouldn't need to change system settings to be able to access certain critical game files. I think I'll prod the sins team about this :P
skyzyk: Try download this to your desktop (you will need to open this link within Internet Explorer) and run this file as administrator http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/fixup_odzip.bat Mike
Do you have multiple Stardock accounts? One problem with this not showing up might be caused by purchasing this under another account. Mike
Have you tried right clicking on the desktop and going to Personalize, then choosing the default Windows 7 theme? Mike
Which DesktopX theme are you using? Mike
Are you talking about setting an arbitrary window's size? Something like that is very doable, and there may even be apps out there that can already do this. Thank you for the feature request, I will pass it along. :) Mike
Demigod is certainly not a typical RTS and was never intended to be. It has no kind of resource-gathering (not counting gold earned through kills) or base building. I would still consider this a strategy title, however, as you still are playing more from the perspective of third-person and your decisions affect the outcome of a battle. Taking into account the experience, armors, potions, accessories, etc, I would say this definitely has a bit of an RPG element with it. Mike
Which game are you referring to? Mike
Please do the following within Impulse: -Cancel your download -Click the blue menu button in the upper left -Choose 'Preferences...' -Click the 'Reset Data' button -Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info. -Attempt your download again Does this help the situation? Mike
It may be possible the icon images those icons on your dock are pointing to no longer exist. Try right clicking them, and setting the properties. Do you see the proper icon image there? Mike

Are you referring to LogonStudio Vista? I doubt this will have full compatibility with Win7 as it was written specifically for a different OS. Mike
neophil78: What are you referring to? Any app, take DesktopX 3 for example, will have some keys/values in the registry indicating the path and executable for the app. This is what Impulse looks at when determining what is installed. If there are two apps that have the same path/executable string, Impulse will show as both of these apps installed. Mike
ReXeC: You will need SoundPackager to create sound packages. More information here: https://www.stardock.com/products/soundpackager/ Mike
I think your problem may be more related with WMI. Which gadget are you attempting to run and on what OS? Mike
