When you click on My Computer and then click on the C drive what you're looking at is your root drive/directory. Sure...if your operating system is loaded on hard drive 'C' then your root is C:\. Copy the file there and try the un-install.

If you have an install.log present (should be in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds), copy it to your C:\root directory and it should un-install.

If you re-booted and it still doesn't work, then open SDC and under the tools tab/ settings/ general un-check 'Enable MCP Smart Startup'. Re-boot.....

It's an alpha build and this is a known issue on some systems...if you're having this problem you're better off just not using it until it's a little more refined.

Open SDC and give me the version of DX it shows installed...make sure you check 'show pre-release versions' in lower left.
