assume it will blow up your computer, kill your pets, set the house on fire, etc. I can live without all that other stuff, but I would really miss the dog <img src="http:

Carl - check and see what version of SDC you have...should be 1.15a217.Build 31
That's normal....
If it's working fine on a manual start you're far better off waiting for the MCP (Smart Start) to come out with the fix. It won't be long and you'll probably break more then you fix in the interim to get it to start on re-boot. Hang tight for awhile.
hummmm.....does that mean it worked?
Just click on OB thru the start menu....
Delete the shortcut...it's trying to install it.
When you right click on it to un-install, it talks to you ??????
You have to un-install both...when it's all said and done you will only have one instance of SS in Object Desktop...and it should be the Pro When you un-install go in to Stardock Folder and delete the Skin Studio Folder [Message Edited]
Nope, that ain't it...go into SDC and un-install SS (2 if 2 show) and reboot. Open SDC and install the Pro version and leave the other one alone.
SDC (Stardock Central)
Skin Studio should be SS Pro...when it starts up and the splash screen comes up, what does it say? Version should be: 3.96d[b].002 (Love this edit button)...when you look in SDC there are TWO entries for SS...Pro and Std. Install the pro and then both will show that version . <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrowser
Pssst...hey Patric.....wanta borrow my gun...???
MCP has been taken off site until they fix it...if you don't show SDMCP.exe running in Task Manager Processes then you don't have it. You can, as Travis suggested, put it in the startup folder, but other then that you'll have to start manually until they put the fix in MCP and re-up to SDC....won't be long. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by S
Hi Randy...nVidia doesn't make any cards, only chipsets. The card would be made by MSI, Gainward, Asus, etc. Here's a list to give you an idea...http://www.newegg.com/app/manufactory.asp?catalog=48&DEPA=1 [Message Edited]
Who made the card, what site did you get the driver and which driver version did you install?
Is it a 'nVidia' or 'ATI' card? ....and who's card is it? [Message Edited]
Leave WB installed on your machine and re-install your graphics driver .
No, you are not going to have to go thru this again and no I don't, and will not, run every time I see your name and you are more then welcome...that's what we're here for
Star Spangled Banner: written in 1814. Adopted as National Anthem in 1931.
...one problem at a time.....
OK...that's fine. I want you to go to the WB skin section and download 'Bubble Wrap' to a temp folder. Open WB config and click 'install from disk'. Point to that file and double click on the file. Does it now show in your skin list at bottom of WB config? If it does, click on it and then hit 'apply' and see if it does. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powere
upload it thru edit account/ edit-upload desktop
Something is not right... in the Start Menu/Programs scroll up to Object Desktop and tell me the programs it shows.... click on my nick...that's what I want. Click again on the image and it will enlarge [Message Edited] [Message Edited]
